A dream stay from start to finish

We absolutely loved our stay at Swallow View - we had a lovely welcome from the owners and were so impressed with the accomodation. Immaculately finished, very comfortable and they had even decorated it for Christmas, which was a lovely touch. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in during our travels and was much appreciated, being pregnant! Great location, close to Matlock, Matlock Bath and then Bakewell, Chatsworth and the Peak District. Shops and restaurants all within easy reach. We would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you for a truly lovely stay.

Mrs

We had a fabulous stay at Swallow View - superbly furnished (fantastic beds in both rooms) and the little extra touches such as organising an 80th Birthday banner and balloon made it extra special. The view makes the steps worthwhile and only a 15minute walk into the heart of Matlock. The owners were extremely welcoming & accommodating and were quick to answer any queries. I would thoroughly recommend a visit!

Magnificent views

Excellent property, but be prepared to climb the stairs. Matlock itself was a bit disappointing but it is central for many day trips.

Look Ma, Top of the world

A fabulous 2 bed flat, excellently furnished and finished, all you would want for your stay. However, there may be a slight hiccup if you have mobility issues but don't let that deter you. I would highly recommend staying here, the views of Chatsworth House and the surrounding countryside from the kitchen/lounge window are just superb. Oh and the pub 50 yrds away is welcoming and cheerful with nice a outside space out front.

Absolutely brilliant

Couldn’t have asked for a better host. The property is well kept with excellent views. I had the best nights sleep in years thanks to high quality mattresses. In short the experience was nothing short of 5 stars.

Excellent apartment, fantastic view

Have just spent the weekend with friends in this lovely spacious apartment. Exceptionally clean. Well equipped. Beds really comfortable. Great base for walking in the area. Found the pub along the road too late in our stay to take full advantage of! We certainly anticipate a return in the future.
