This is a really spacious property, the photos do not do it justice at all. It is on a working farm so staying here, we did hear farm sounds. Our host was excellent and dealt with a couple of issues with the property very quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again

Lovely Stay

We loved having this home as a home base. The area is beautiful and convenient. The home was comfortable, clean, and great for a family. We would book again.

New year family break

The family gathered here to celebrate new year together and to spend time walking and exploring part of Scotland we had not experienced before. This was an ideal location with much to see and do and the cottage was a very comfortable base.

Lovely to gather and use the cottage as a base for wider exploring. Our local pub and farmshop make staying local a wonderful option too.

Lovely propert and location

Friendly host. Lovely property with good spaces. Pretty central location 30 mins from beach/edinburgh park and ride/edinburgh airport Lovely local pub down the road Lovely views and wildlife Will come back in the future should we make a trip to the same part of scotland in the future Thanks.

Outstanding

This was hands down the best holiday cottage I’ve stayed in. It was superbly well equipped and clean with a friendly host. If you want somewhere quiet and idyllic then this is the place to stay. It’s located in the middle of nowhere but is a close drive to loads of places and attractions. Also well worth a trip to the local pub less than half a mile away

Beautiful Rolling Hills

This home is situated on a farm that is surrounded by green rolling hills. This property was clean and well equipped for a large family. The accommodations were perfect after a long trip. The hostess came over to make sure we had everything we needed and if we had any questions regarding the property

Great cottage for families

Great cottage with everything you need for a relaxing stay .Spotlessly clean, bedrooms made up to your specific requests. Games,books, dvds. Tea, coffee & milk in fridge to start you off. Great communication from host,even popping by to check that we had everything we needed

Perfect place to stay!

The cottage seemed wonderful when we booked, and it far exceeded our hopes. It was very spacious with all we needed for a fun and convenient stay. The puzzles and games were a hit with the kids, and it was lovely to have tea and coffee, milk and sugar all ready for us. The walk down to the tavern was great, and the food superb. Julie was wonderful in every way and if we ever get the chance to visit Scotland again, we would very happily stay again. This is the accommodation that all others must strive to beat!

Exceeded expectations

The property had the feel of a good hotel when we walked in. Smelt lovely and fresh. Bedrooms were spacious and modern. Julie was happy to help whenever we called. She was pleasant and kind. Just what you want when you are on a family holiday. The cottage is surrounded by farms growing carrots, parsnips, potatoes, brocoli, oats and barley and many other types of produce. There is even a combine harvister on the site. Fascinating but not at all disturbing. The property listing and pictures does not do thos property justice. The surroundings are actually stunning. With the beautiful mountains on one side and a view of Loch leven on the other side. The area has an abundance of activities for all ages, from water sports, to waterfalls and walks and high end shopping. The location has the advantages of a little town with shops and transport links to stunning countryside. The weather was kind was lots and lots of sunshine. We were very sad when the 10 days holiday came to and end too quickly.

Una estancia perfecta.

Todo lo bueno que podamos decir de la estancia es poco, el anuncio cumplió con creces nuestras expectativas, ha sido la casa ideal para descansar de los días de visitas, muy bien ubicada, ideal para visitar Edimburgo, Glasglow e incluso las tierras altas de Escocia. Somos una familia con 4 hijos algunos adolescentes y estuvieron encantados del espacio que había para todos, estamos muy agradecidos a Julie porque nos facilitó mucho el proceso de reserva, por supuesto recomendamos este bello lugar. Gracias.

Beautiful place and the pictures show it perfectly. Nice views at the house and close to things to do. There is also a nice binder they put together with useful info and stuff to do in the area. My family and I loved the place and location. I’d definitely recommend it.

Julie and David were excellent hosts and the cabin was everything they promised it would be. Peaceful bucolic setting close to Loch Leven and plenty of hiking and biking trails and all the golf courses were within 30 minutes. I would return in a minute.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Die Wohnung war schön groß und sauber. Für das Erkunden von Edingburgh und Glasgow ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt. Zu empfehlen ist der Pub, der in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen ist.

The property is in a great quiet location, lovely property, very clean and all amenities supplied and beautiful views.. Julie the host is wonderful and communicates well and makes sure everything is taken care off to make your vacation great..
