A one bedroom self catering property in an idyllic valley setting.

The Shed is situated in the most beautiful valley with far reaching views. Good for walks, and relaxing. Wotton-under-Edge, Dursley and Tetbury all within a short driving distance. Lots of wonderful wildlife and farm animals nearby. The property consists of a sitting room, bathroom with over head shower over the bath, a small kitchen and a double bedroom. It is very cosy.

Please note The New Inn pub has now closed.

* Please note that access into the valley is on narrow lanes. The road is un even and so you will need to drive very slowly if in a low car. Our drive is also uneven so please drive slowly. You need to be made aware of these things before booking. Incidentally this is what makes The Shed so unique, is it's ruralness!

It is also important you follow the directions I send you as you need to avoid the "whiteway" road into the valley. *

We request that our guests strip the bed at the end of their stay and place sheets and towels in the basket provided, and make sure all their washing up has been washed up and put away.

We had such a relaxing stay at the Shed! Unfortunately, we were only able to stay two nights, but felt right at home. Our mini-dachshund, Pip, was especially happy here! We hope to be back!

We had a great time in the Shed and enjoyed the tranqility and beauty of nature. We did a lot of hiking, some walks started directly from the Shed. A perfect holiday.

Antonia was a very responsive host and resolved the issue with the TV signal very promptly after our arrival. We appreciated the jam, butter, sourdough bread and milk left for us. We feel some attention could be given to the wear and tear in the Shed, for example the mixer tap in the kitchen. Otherwise the Shed was well kitted out and in a stunning location. Very peaceful and relaxing.

The Shed is located in a magical, beautiful place - the countryside is stunning. It is a warm and charming home, lots of sweet little touches. And Antonia is a most welcoming host. Highly recommend it!!

My husband and I spent four nights. Antonia is a wonderful host and very communicative. The check in process was simple and The Shed was a perfect home base for exploring the area. The location is beautiful and surrounded by countryside, but also relatively close to restaurants and grocery stores. We really appreciated the food staples that were left for us upon arrival - delicious bread, butter, jam, brownies, tea and milk - for a quick bite after a long day of travel our first evening. The kitchen is stocked well with kitchen tools, dishes, etc. along with a washing machine. Thank you for a wonderful visit, we hope to be able to return in the future!

Excellent communication from the host. The Shed is in a stunning location with beautiful walks from the doorstep. Accommodation is basic but comfortable and met all our needs. Thank you to the host for the tasty brownies you left us along with some butter, jam and milk. Thoroughly recommend The Old Fox at Coaley for Sunday lunch it is amazing and the staff were very welcoming. Leaf and Ground in Dursley is also a lovely place to visit.

Stunning location. We had a lovely stay. We felt welcomed even though Antonia was away. She responded quickly to my query. My only criticism is that the kitchen tap is too low so very difficult to use.

Antonia was a wonderful host with clear, helpful communication and thoughtful and interesting touches a-plenty. Her property is in an idyllic rural location among rolling hills. We were delighted to stay here and would very happily stay again.

Perfect spot in glorious country-side

A great base for taking in the surrounding area. The Shed has everything you need and is beautifully and comfortably decorated. A highlight was the walk to the Tyndall Monument and climbing to the top...the views were amazing

Lovely break

Quiet area and plenty of walks and places to visit. We only stayed for a short break but enjoyed the stay. Ideal for relaxing. Host is fabulous.

Beautiful countryside cottage

Woah. What a stunning property. My cousin and I had a wonderful time staying at the shed. It was exactly what we were looking for, beautiful landscapes, wildlife, and farm animals!

Special week 60th wedding anniversary!

Ein cosy and quiet getaway

We really enjoyed our stay - especially the beautiful sunsets.The beautifully converted shed is cosily furnished and offers everything you need, and shopping facilities are also nearby.The location is nice and quiet in the countryside, yet a good base for trips to the Cotswolds or for walks.The hostess Antonia made us feel very welcome. (Greetings also to Crispy from me ;-) )

Lovely little shed in the Cotswolds

This was a lovely little shed in the Cotswolds. So quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a getaway. They said the roads were narrow, and they for sure we're. So be prepared to drive slow.

Lovely property

The Shed is a fabulous property in a perfect location for getting away from it all. Views were brilliant particularly at sunset. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The milk and cakes were an extra lovely treat.

Excellent mini-break

Great little property, just right for the two of us and our dogs. The scenery us amazing, and the location perfect. The driveway could be a struggle for a small/sports car, and the surrounding lanes not for the fainthearted!

Amazing little house

Really beautiful little house in an amazing landscape. Very clean and with everything you need for a relaxing time. Antonia and her husband are really nice people who helped us out with advices for hiking trails and restaurants. We would love to come back

Shed Heaven

Gorgeous place, in the most tranquil spot imaginable. It's truly beautiful. Antonia is a fantastic host - The property is immaculate! It's perfect for a couple, and despite it's somewhat "off the beaten track" location, it's within short driving distances of towns and local attractions. We're looking forward to heading back there soon

A country delight!

It was one of the most breath taking country places to stay. To wake up and see this amazing view, so quiet and peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights and and ate breakfast and evening meals there as we wanted to make the most of the tranquil experience. A little tricky navigating the tiny roads at times but all part of the fun. The Shed is a lovely cost place to stay.
