Native Elk Cabin is a gorgeous four-bedroom, three-bath home in the scenic Upper Valley area of Red River, NM. Surround yourself with comfort in this well-stocked spacious home. The large kitchen, multiple living areas, and loft make this home perfect for a large family or for a group of friends vacationing together!

All-season fun! Whether you'll be spending your days skiing and nights curled up on the sofa with a movie and hot chocolate or you'll be fly-fishing and ATVing during the day and enjoying the mild summer weather on the deck in the evenings, this house is the perfect "home base" for your get-away!

Our house backs up to the National Forest, with scenic views all around and hiking from the property. We are 5.7 miles (13 minutes) from the Red River Ski Area main lodge and the town of Red River.

This is a great space for families. Plenty of beds that were actually comfortable. The cabin has several couches and seating areas as well as a large dining table where we could all eat together. The kitchen was very well stocked and we enjoyed making several meals there. We also appreciated how everything was labeled (light switches, remotes, etc) Overall we had a great relaxing vacation and would stay here again.

This house was perfect for us. We went to RR for some sxs riding. The property had sufficient parking for buggys, trucks and trailers. We had 4 trucks/trailers parked and still had enough room to utilize the extra parking up top for the buggys. It accommodated our nightly dinners to cook/grill out. Over all was a 10 out of 10 stay. Will definitely stay here again

This cabin is perfect for family vacations! Very roomy with lots of seating and a very well stocked kitchen. The view was beautiful; the location was great. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back some day.

Great place

Great place for large family. Kitchen had everything you need. Plenty of parking for cars, trailers, and sxs. I would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay

Good location outside of town with great views from the front porch, including large groups of elk moving through the valley.

This house is literally so perfect. Our group of 13 all had a great time, and absolutely loved the house. Host responds very well to many questions. Space was very clean and stocked!

The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the cabin is beautiful. We loved the sun room off the back. I was also very impressed with how every thing was labeled for use! It sure made using things so much easier. Thank you for sharing your cabin.

Family vacation

It was our first time staying at a cabin and it was great, it really exceded our expectations and, everything was perfect. It was a well equipt house it had everything we needed and more. The surrounding nature was very relaxing aswell.

When we saw this house we immediately envisioned spending winters evenings playing board games in front of the stone fireplace, snowshoeing in the forest above the house and sledding down the hill, and sipping wine on the back porch as the kids played in the forest on warm summer evenings.
