Great cabin. Enjoyed our stay right on the river and had great weather. Owner of the cabin was very helpful and accommodating. Can't wait to go back.

It was absolutely wonderful sitting on the back porch, listening to the river while birdwatching! Saw American Dippers actually swimming, a Kingfisher with a huge catch and even a flock of turkeys came sauntering by:)). That said, the cleaning crew could have been better: freezer and glass patio tables were dirty, but that’s not the hosts fault.If you’re looking for a great escape from the heat, being on the water and just like relaxing, or especially birdwatching, this is a nice little place.

Great place. Right by the river. Cabin was well stocked. Nice gas grill. Close to Red River, New Mexico. The porch was great to sit and listen to the river and the wind through the trees. Wonderful place to stay.

We loved our stay at The Fishin’ Hole. Beds were comfortable. We had everything that we needed. My grandson began fishing as soon as we arrived. He’s seven and had nibbles and caught many trees. He also collected rocks and tried to catch a chipmunk. We enjoyed watching the chipmunks and the birds. We had a chipmunk visit in the house for a couple of days. Lol! The house was very clean, and the host was easy to contact and answer questions. Highly recommend this site and would stay here again. Thank you! We hated to leave and head home to Oklahoma’s 100 degree temperatures. Bill and Sandra Dixon and familyP.S. I wrote in the house book and forgot to sign our names.

What a wonderful cabin and the property was spectacular! We spent 2 weeks there and couldn’t be happier. We will miss the walks and sound of the river right outside the back door. We hope to be back some day.

Great location just a few minutes outside of town. The river behind the house, the back porch, and the fire pit was so relaxing. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space! A great variety of games kept the teens and adults occupied.

Great Stay!

We loved our time at the Fishing Hole! It's the perfect location and we loved being right on the river. We spent most of our time outside; but inside was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for our family. We will definitely be back!
