We love the love shack and have stayed here many times. It never disappoints. Hadyn is a great host. Thorough instructions and quick it respond to questions.

The Love Shack is a lovely place to stay. You couldn't possibly get any closer to Maenporth Beach if you tried! You literally just cross the road and you're on the beach!The property is clean and tidy with all the facilities neccesary. The host was excellent with his communication and help.We loved being here and have booked up again for next year!

We really enjoyed our holiday here with our family. The location is very nice, especially the small cove with the sea just in front of the house. It is a pleasant place to relax, and you can also enjoy activities such as paddleboarding.The small wooden house is well located. It is simple and reminds us of the bungalows you often find at holiday campsites. It had everything we needed for a comfortable family stay.

arrived to a damp smell sofa was damp and damaged it dipped in the middle causing it to be uncomfortable floor was rotten in places causing it to be a trip hazzard if it wasnt for the carpet it would have colapsed under footflooring in bathroom was ripped so had to wear slippers incase we caught our toes on itthe distance to the beach was great and the cafe at the end of the beach was fab good food and fab breakfastparking was goodgood walks to other beaches walking distance to falmouth was doable did i mention it was close to the beach

This review is unfair and exaggerated, as demonstrated by Guest Reviews following this one, but it does sound like The Love Shack needs some love. When I'm made aware of issues, I deal with them promptly. Otherwise, the property is as described - one step up from camping. Please read ALL details thoroughly before booking, including the proximity to the sea and resulting minor damp issues, if not kept ventilated. Thank you.

The cabin was lovely and clean and was equipped with everything we needed. The heaters were very effective; we put then for 15 minutes and the whole cabin was warm. We went in October. Haydn our host was fab, he contacted us several times in the week to check it was all OK. We had Storm Austen when we were there and he let us stay later to wait for it to pass.The beach was literally across the road, 2 minutes away and you can hear the waves at night. So peaceful and calming. Nice sandy beach in a cove. Lovely beach cafe as well. Near to other attractions if that's what you want. We just wanted to relax. We went to 2 other beaches for a walk and something to eat, and Falmouth as we love a harbour. However most of our time was at our beach. You need to take bedding, towels etc, but for the price that was fine. The neighbours are lovely as well.We can't wait to go again. We loved the simplicity of it.
