Everything was clean, it was easy to contact the owner and they responded quickly. The views were great each morning. Will definitely book again!

Amazing stay! The cabin was clean and check in was very easy. The listing understates the view and there was no shortage of comfort. The drive up can be a bit scary if you have a larger vehicle or are not used to driving mountain roads. Other than that, everything was perfect and we almost didn’t want to leave the cabin. If you do want a small adventure, there is hiking, restaurants, and the parkway a short drive away. I didn’t interact with the host much, simply because he gave us all the information we needed before we checked in, which is a good indication of a great host! Overall, highly recommend this cabin.

We had four couples staying at the house and everyone had plenty of space. The house was clean and had everything we needed to cook meals. The weather was cloudy and rainy most of the time, but when we got a break in the clouds, the view was beautiful.

From the moment we arrived on the property to the morning we checked out, everything was great! The cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, etc. The 8 adult females had more than enough room to mix, mingle, and spend alone time. This weekend has been one for the books. The space was warm and inviting and we had no problems at all! We even had an instacart delivery from Food Lion with a few items we needed to add and it arrived timely and without issues. We will definitely recommend this cabin!

My family and I really enjoyed our mini vacation here. Life has been hectic and stressful lately, so this getaway was a much-needed breath of fresh air. The house was wonderful, clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The location was great and easy to get to. David was a kind and responsive host, and we truly appreciate his hospitality.

We had a great time. The home has a great view. Very cozy beds. Kitchen was stocked with all the things needed. Parking was fine. Drive up to house is to be expected with a mountain town. Hot tub was lovely. We will absolutely stay here again. Loved it.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay, had everything we needed. Water pressure was low if anything was running in the cabin and hot water didn’t last long but overall, great place to stay.

This is our second year staying at this awesome property. It is clean, well taken care of and well stocked, and all the beds are comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely cabin

What a beautiful cabin and location. Kitchen has everything you need including some essentials, spices etc. If you love the mountains you'll love this place. All wheel drive or 4 wheel recommended.

Beautiful Place

Great place for our family get together! Clean, comfortable, and beautiful views. The only draw back was the roads to the house were rough and steep. We had friends with us who drove a medium sized car and they had a lot of trouble getting to the house.

We did want to gently clarify for future guests: while the roads are gravel, they are well maintained and navigable with standard two-wheel drive vehicles. Driving in the mountains can feel a bit different if you're not used to it, but using a lower gear—as we mention in the check-in instructions—helps make the drive smoother and more comfortable. Car size typically isn’t an issue. We really appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again sometime!

Scenic view and lovely home

We loved staying at Carolina Comfort. The house was clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious, private, and had an amazing view. The location was great for hiking in GSMNP, a day trip to Asheville and whitewater rafting. Would definitely return!

We had an excellent time!!!! So much snow!! Hot tub was awesome! Kids had a blast! Best location

We played in the snow all day. Then hit the hot tub. House had everything we needed! Tube world was fun and super close.

The home and location are beautiful. We found it to be clean. The roads are a challenge, but that was part of the beauty of it. We truly felt isolated.

The property is better than advertised! It was cleaner than expectations and there are backups for backups. We never wanted for anything. Could not be more impressed and thankful.
