This newly renovated vacation home features 4 spacious bedrooms, including a primary suite, with 3 full bathrooms. A beautiful great room with gas logs, wrap around porch and spectacular mountain views. In addition, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, game room with pool table and an elevator for easy access between levels. This authentic log home, which sits high in the Smoky Mountains, is just a quick drive to Historic Downtown Waynesville. Enjoy the outdoor stone patio, fire pit and gas grill.
5 minutes to Downtown Waynesville, NC
15 minutes to Maggie Valley, NC
30 minutes to Cataloochee Ski Area
35 minutes to Harrah's Casino, Cherokee Gambling
40 minutes to Asheville, NC- home of the Historic Biltmore House
Day trips to: Nantahala and Ocoee white water rafting, Grandfather Mountain, Hot Springs, Blue Ridge Parkway and much more.

* We provide a "starter amenity package" which includes: 1 roll of paper towels, small sponge/dish soap, 2 pods for dishwasher, 2 trash bags, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom and 2 tide pods for laundry. Eagles Nest Lodge was the perfect vacation rental for our family. The location, the house and grounds,and the attention and service of the owner were first class. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for the best of everything.

This is an AMAZING home! We booked for a weekend with friends and it was perfect. The home was great, and the views were breath taking. Booking from start to finish was easy. Our host was very responsive anytime I contacted her. We will definitely be booking again soon!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin nestled in the mountains. The cabin is spacious and we loved sitting on the porch looking out at the mountains. The adorable town of Waynesville is only a short drive away. Would stay again!

Great cabin!

Wonderfully cozy cabin with plenty of room. We brought my mother here for a trip to the mountains and a Christmas Day at Biltmore to mark her 80th birthday. We all had a fabulous time and this cabin and host helped to make it specatcular! Really fabulous spot.

Friends getaway!

We enjoyed our annual friends get-together at this lovely home. The home was comfortable, clean, and modernly furnished, while still maintaining a mountain getaway atmosphere. The owners clearly put a lot of time and care into ensuring their guests have a warm and relaxing experience.

Magical Christmas

Our family enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay over the Christmas holiday. The kitchen was well equipped for all of cooking and baking needs. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and beautiful views. We would love to come back for a 3rd stay in the future!

Quick trip to NC

Our family took a quick trip to Waynesville for a family wedding. 2 grand parents and aunts and a some cousins enjoyed our stay together at this cozy cabin in the mountains! Loved our stay and would love to return some day soon. Very clean and warm and welcoming!

Wow, what a great three day get-away! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home, beautiful setting, everything we needed on site. In fact, we could have stayed in-house all 3 days and been completly content. But, we did enjoy our two visits to downtown Waynesville. A great time was had by all!

Everything was as listed, and the property is beautiful.We really appreciated the Christmas tree in the living area, and large wreath at the entrance. Because we were coming some distance, we had no room traveling with such items. It was specious for the 8 of us,and suited our needs perfectly.

Annual girls’ trip

We loved this property for our annual girls’ trip. It’s conveniently located, plenty of space, and great views. We had a blast, whether just relaxing on the deck or playing pool. And I’m positive that our giant jenga tour was the highest we’ve ever accomplished. We’re definitely keeping this property on our list for future trips.

Loved our stay!

We decided to spend Christmas in the mountains this year and this is the cabin I chose when I was searching for a place to stay, and I'm so glad I did. The cabin is so cozy and had everything we needed and more! There was even a small Christmas tree up, and thank goodness there was because Santa knew exactly where to leave the presents for my grandson! The location was great as well! I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Wonderful stay

The house was very clean and very well equipped. It met all of our expectations, plus. We enjoyed it very much and extended our stay by one week. The host was very nice and very accessible with each contact made. A wonderful experience.
