Welcome to Unit 1602 at the Fairways at Mauna Lani! This luxurious gated community is located between the Fairmont Orchid and Mauna Lani Bay Hotel. This is a bright and open unit in a park-like setting. Feels like your own backyard. Easy access to the pool. It is a short walk to The Shops at Mauna Lani where there are many restaurant including Tommy Bahamas and the gourmet market, Foodland Farms.

As a guest, you will have access to the exclusive Mauna Lani Beach Club. Within the resort, there are also two 18 hole championship golf courses and the Mauna Lani Sports and Fitness Club which boasts 6 tennis courts.
The private beach club is beautiful and extremely convenient. Simply grab a towel and go! There are chaise lounges and cabanas there for your use as well as the incredible restaurant, Napua. The beautiful white sand beach offers world class snorkeling where the fish feed and the turtles come to play. During the season, you can spot whales frolicking just off the beach. The Fairways also has its own fitness room, expansive pool area and hot tub with a waterfall. Beach towels, chairs and snorkel gear are provided for your use.

Wonderful and well stocked home

Had a wonderful stay. Close enough to walk to the beach. Super well stocked kitchen. The only thing I thought was missing was a tea kettle…. But then I found it. Had everything we wanted for our stay - beach chairs, umbrellas, drying rack, plenty of paper products, dish soap etc. Owner was super responsive when we had questions.

Wonderful unit

This townhouse is clean, spacious and very well equipped. The master bath and closet are quite large, as is the main living area. Bed is really comfortable. The A/C is excellent. We cooked about half of our meals over a 12-day stay, and every piece of cooking equipment I needed was there. The beach/pool equipment is plentiful and high quality. It's great having access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club, one of the best snorkeling locations on the island. It's quiet and peaceful at the Fairways, and we spent a lot of time on the lanai, having meals and reading/relaxing. We had a question about operating the gas grill, and the owner, a really nice person, came over in 2 minutes to show us what to do. I highly recommend this unit.

a great stay in Mauna Lani

More spacious than the pictures indicate. Grounds are lovely, kids loved the pool and the fruit trees. Kitchen is well stocked- we made nearly all our meals in for the week. Beach club access is a definite plus, with calm water and good snorkeling. Boogie boards, beach chairs/umbrella in the garage are convenient.

Family Vacation

The place is so clean and very well furnished. The neighborhood is quiet and the pool area is lovely. Ron, the host was very responsive when I contacted him. The kitchen is well equipped and there are some great beach toys to use too.

Amazing stay on the Big Island!

Our family of 7 had the most incredible stay at Ron’s condo. Every possible little need was thought of and provided for at this place! We had a minor issue come up with the A/C and Ron immediately responded and dealt with it in a timely fashion. We will be booking this place again if we are fortunate enough to return to the Big Island. Thank you, Ron!

Spacious, well stocked, good location.

Vacation home was well stocked with beach accessories, & kitchen essentials. Location was convenient to pool and main road. Hot tub wasn’t working during our stay which was a huge bummer.

Flawless

Ron was the perfect host - home is comfortable and beautiful (lovely art & furniture with an Aloha vibe). Kitchen was extremely well equipped. Townhome is very quiet, despite being a short walk to an amazing pool. All appliances functioned well - including Viking BBQ. The garage has boogie boards, which we borrowed. As well as furniture, snorkel gear and even two different sizes of coolers. Trust me, this host thought of every detail. Soft towels that color coordinated...it was a perfect home and my first time on the island. Loved the beach and snorkeled almost every day. Also, plenty of golf options not too far away. I will be back! Thank you!

Beautiful Place to Stay

Our family had a lovely time at this property. Well maintained, clean, and full of convenient kitchen appliances (rice cooker!) and pool/beach supplies. Would love to stay here again the next time we are on the Big Island.

Family In Paradise

This place is ideal for families with young kids. There is plenty of room to spread out and not hear every early morning wake up or disrupt naps with noises from the kitchen. Plenty of towels, beach gear, and pool toys. The property and lanai are fantastic and the pool has a great little kids pool within it. The Beach Club is incredible, with shallow water and mellow waves perfect for littles. Plus, there’s an on-site restaurant with delicious food and smoothies. The property owner was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Great family vacation!

We rented two condo units for a family vacation on the Kohala Coast and the units were both fabulous! They are spacious, modern and well appointed, and the owner had them stocked with everything we could possibly need, even including snorkeling gear and beach toys for the kids. The units are located close to the large swimming pool and within walking distance of the Mauna Lani Beach and Beach Club to which we had full access. Our family of ten (6 adults and 4 children) had a fantastic time on the Big Island and these wonderful condos made it all that more pleasant. We can’t wait to return!

Awesome Location at Beautiful Condo!

This was the perfect spot for our family of five! Lovely condo in a beautiful area...every possible amenity you could think of was stocked in the house. We all loved the beach club access and used it several days. Excellent location and wonderful stay overall; we'd absolutely recommend this site. Thank you for the amazing visit.

Wonderful Family vacation

The house was so comfortable for the six of us. Had everything we needed to just kick back and relax. Loved the snorkeling at beach, great early morning hikes along the beach and a waterfall hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. Ron made our trip so easy and took care of so many little details in the house. We will most definitely be back.

Simply Paradise

This truly was the most amazing experience! The pictures cannot possibly capture how magnificent this home is. So spacious, clean, well stocked, awesome community, very nice pool which was never crowded and so much more! The discount card for supermarket a mile away and access to beach club unreal! My husband and I and 3 adult kids enjoyed every minute. The owner Ron made it all simple and thorough; thank you for such a wonderful vacation we will never forget and hope to be back!

Paradise Indeed

This is a very spacious townhouse, perfect for our family of 5. It was well equipped with kitchen appliances and lots of toys, chairs, etc. for the beach. We ate most of our meals on the lanai, listening to and watching the birds in the private "backyard". The house stayed cool and comfortable, even without using the air-conditioning. It is located close to several beautiful beaches, and within walking distance of a great little grocery store. Highly recommended!

Excellent in Every Aspect

We've been coming to the Mauna Lani Fairways for 13 years and this was among the best, if not THE best experience. The unit was well stocked inside and out. Lots of equipment for the beach in the garage, too. The owner was responsive before, during and after the stay. I can strongly recommend this.

Great Hawaiian Vacation

We chose this property because of the location. 1st time to this island, and we chose well with a super amazing location! We went to every National park, snorkeled every day, and had great food options. Visited the volcano, went on Charter fishing trip, snorkeled with Manta Rays, and explored a different beach every day. World class snorkeling many options without much driving required. I would consider this location again for return trips.

Fantastic stay in #1602

A perfect “home away from home” on the Big Island! This condo is well appointed in a casual Hawaiian decor with thoughtful details throughout. We rented two units at The Fairways to support a large family gathering and ended up spending most of our time in this one. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to prepare and host meals, the sitting room and outside patio area were both large and comfortable to accommodate our group of eight. There are lots of beach toys and snorkel gear in the garage. The owner was excellent to work with, he responded to all of our questions promptly and check in/check out were easy. If you are looking for a place to stay on the Kohala coast , look no further - this is it!

Amazing place to stay!

We booked this place as it was very close to our race venue. It exceeded our expectations! Not only was the location awesome, the unit itself was very spacious, very clean and well stocked with everything that we needed. I would highly recommend this property to everyone especially with large families. The access to the pool and to the mauna lani beach private access were also huge conveniences.

Just Perfect!

Ron was wonderful as a host. The pandemic caused us to have to reschedule and he was flexible and communicative. The condo itself is gorgeous and stocked will all amenities we would ever need. Being able to swim at the Mauna Lani Club was a big bonus too. Highly recommend this for a relaxing stay on the island! Anita
