Modern, secluded house with Crystal Lake views on a forested ridge

Built in 2015, Fern Hill is a modern-day cabin on a private drive with a cozy yet open-to-nature feel. Situated upon a ridge on five acres of heavily wooded property, it offers privacy as well as a stunning view of Crystal Lake. It is not uncommon to see deer, turkey, woodpeckers, owls, and other wildlife on the land.

Comfortably sleeping six people, the cabin has two private bedrooms and a roomy loft, all with queen-sized beds. A futon in the loft may be used for a seventh sleeper. The master bedroom has an attached full bath. A second full bath is also located on the main floor.

It has a fully-equipped modern kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and electric appliances. The dining table comfortably seats 8. A washer, dryer, and DVD player are available. Also offered are:
• A fire pit for sunset bonfires (with wood provided)
• A large front deck
• An outside grill
• Beautiful lake and woodland views
• Nearby public access to beaches and marinas
• Five-minute drives to Frankfort or Beulah
• The Betsie Trail for hiking or biking (access within 1/4 mile)

Please note that there is no internet, cable, or satellite TV. This is an "off-the-grid" modern cabin that is fantastic for enjoying the finer moments in life. If internet is needed, the public library in Frankfort is wonderful, as is the internet speed at Stormcloud Brewing in Frankfort and Five Shores Brewing in Beulah. Cell reception is also very good for Verizon and T-Mobile.
