Historic Bergheim

We had a wonderful stay in a very comfortable house on the Alsace wine route. Close to many historic towns with French and German foods

Four of us stayed here and was perfect for us with 2 full bathrooms. We obviously didn’t need 3 of the bedrooms which were all very nice. The kitchen was well stocked although we just had breakfast there. The hosts were exceptional, checked with me a few times to be sure we had everything we needed. Bergheim is a quaint village that we enjoyed walking in and enjoyed 3 restaurants plus a wine tasting. It's location is ideal for visiting other villages close by.

It was to soon over. Bergheim is a lovely village. Could stay there for longer but duty calls

Review

We enjoyed our stay as a family. Just a misunderstanding about the supply of towels. Coming from New Zealand we expected them to be automatically supplied. Sebastien kindly sorted it though. Enjoyed village and surrounding area was very interesting. Great castles and historic ww1 sites. Thanks.

This property was in the most wonderful location and for us, visiting the European Patchwork exhibitions, not too far to travel by car each day. There were several restaurants in the area but no supermarket so beware that you need to go into Ribeauville to get any supplies other than milk etc. Most wonderful Artisan bakery in our road for breakfast. The towel issue needs to be sorted out. We were directed by Sebastien after we had packed to bring our own towels which we didn't want to do. However, having packed our towels, we were then offered them by his assistant Svetlana when we arrived! Thank you Svetlana, we used your towels. Other than this, we were very happy in our accommodation and it suited us all.

Hello Barbara, Thank you for your feedback! As clearly stated on our page, bed linen is included in the price, but we cannot provide towels to groups due to logistical reasons. Occasionally, we do help one or two guests, and we do so willingly and free of charge. Since your comment seems to highlight a misunderstanding between Svetlana and me on this matter, I wanted to clarify things. I expected you to see it as a thoughtful gesture and a sign of hospitality that exceeded your expectations. If you had brought your own towels (as almost all guests do), why did you ask for more? And why did this service ultimately detract from your stay with us?

Fantástica semana

Ha sido una semana muy buena. La casa está fenomenalmente ubicada para poder conocer toda la Alsacia. Muy bien equipada y muy limpia. Una casa muy amplia con todas las comodidades. Sébastien, el propietario, muy agradable y hospitalario. Nos orientó muy bien sobre los lugares a visitar. Tuvimos la suerte también de poder ver sus creaciones artísticas que son impresionantes. La casa es totalmente recomendable. Muchas gracias Sébastien!

Tout était parfait pour passer d'excellentes vacances en famille. logement spacieux et propre. Situation géographique parfaite pour visiter tous les magnifiques sites alsaciens avec escapade à Europa Park très proche.Merci pour le contact et l'échange avec Sébastien. Grand merci à Romain et Svétlana pour leur gentillesse.Même le confiture de rhubarbe était au top.

It is written on the presentation of the guesthouse that a small place on the top of the outside stairs can be helpful for smokers. Die Unterkunft mit der Anzahl der Schlafzimmer und Bäder war ideal für uns 5 Freunde. Die Lage in Bergheim mit Bäckerei und Restaurants, sowie Weingütern ist Perfekt. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Entdeckung der schönen Orte an der Weinstraße mit Fahrrad oder Auto. Das Geschirr in der Küche, der Herd und Teile des Geschirrs waren leider nicht so sauber. Freundlicher Empfang, gute Einweisung und Empfehlungen für Lokale gaben uns einen guten Start in die Ferienwoche.

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr zentral es war alles da was gebraucht wurde an manchen Ecken hätte es sauberer sein können aber das ist meckern auf Hohem Niveau. Der Kontakt zur Haussitterin und zum Eigentümer war sehr gut. Sie waren beide sehr bemüht also bei der Ankunft Stromausfall im ganzen Dorf war. (nicht selbst verschuldet)

L’hôte répond rapidement aux messages. Logement très spacieux et propre . Bon équipement, linge, vaisselle.Nous avons toujours trouvé un stationnement près de la maison voir juste devant. Village mignon très tranquille. Boulangerie à deux pas .Nous sommes près de toutes les villes avec les marchés de Noël sur la route des vins .Adresse à retenir

Haus mit Charme, schön geräumig, zwei Bäder. Treppen knarzen und manche Türen klemmen ein bisschen, aber das ist nicht so schlimm. Sehr gute Ausstattung. Ich habe Verständnis, dass für ein Haus dieser Größe Handtücher nicht gestellt werden.
