Luxury Self Catering Holiday Apartment in Historic Stirling

Situated on a highly desirable leafy street just over half a mile from Stirling city centre is The Laurels. This self-catering apartment is located on the garden floor of a beautiful Victorian villa built in 1895. The apartment has undergone a complete extensive renovation to offer modern luxurious accommodation.
This self-catering property comprises a large fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher/washing machine and dryer with ample seating for 6 people. A large living room with patio doors opening onto a beautifully planted patio area with seating. The master bedroom contains a king size sleigh bed and luxurious en-suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a super king size bed which can be divided into two full size single beds. There is also a foldaway bed, travel cot and high chair available on request. There is a large fully equipped family bathroom comprising a bath and separate shower unit.
This is an extremely spacious, well equipped apartment. The Laurels has free Wi-Fi connection, flat screen TV with Freeview, video/DVD player and a wireless speaker. Some toys and books are available for children. The property has gas central heating.

The apartment was very conveniently located for all of the things we wanted to do in Stirling, Glasgow, and Falkirk. It was easy to get to shopping and restaurants. The place itself was clean and in good condition. We had plenty of space.

This was an amazing property to stay at, my wife mentioned multiple times that she would love to live in this property. Anne was a pleasure to rent from and her communication was beyond anything that was expected. I will definitely be contacting her again the next time I am going to be in the Stirling area. I highly recommend this accommodation.

The Laurels was an ideal choice for our stay in Stirling. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential but provides easy access to major attractions and roadways. Several excellent restaurants are within easy walking distance. The apartment itself is fully equipped and even nicer than the photographs. Anne is an outstanding host who provided a detailed guidebook before we arrived and responded immediately to any questions. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Stirling.

This property is in an ideal location to access many activities and sites in central Scotland. We made the most of our time through visits to delightful sites in Stirling, but also exploring Trossachs National Park, the Highlands, St Andrews, and Edinburgh...all a short distance by car or bus from the property. We were very impressed with the condition of the house and the welcoming neighborhood of tree-lined streets and well-manicured gardens. The host made the house even more welcoming with lovely photographic art of the region in the rooms and a kitchen that was superbly equipped and ready for us to prepare most of our own meals. Additionally, the host (Anne) prepared a thoughtful basket of Scottish treats to welcome us in. The communication with the host leading up to our arrival and while in place was of the highest caliber; quick to answer questions and thorough in providing useful information in preparation for our arrival. We have stayed in self-catering properties all over the world, and The Laurels is definitely one of the best holiday locations we have experienced.

The apartment is one of the best we have rented, very spacious. It is very comfortable in a lovely neighborhood and near everything. The kitchen was so well stocked, it was a pleasure to cook. The bed was great! We enjoyed the entrance foyer for our coats and shoes. It was perfect having a washer and dryer as we are traveling in Scotland for 30 days. Great communication with host. We look to our return and highly recommend for friends, couples and families.

This property is in a great location for visiting Stirling Castle and the surrounding area. We visited the Trossachs, boat trip on Loch Katrine and Drummond Castle & Gardens. The property is very comfortable with a lovely garden to enjoy. Our host had a very generous hospitality gift waiting for us, which included milk. Communication with our host was excellent with extensive information about the property, surrounding area to visit, restaurants and grocery stores. There were plenty of dishes and cookware. The washing machine and dryer are a big plus with plenty of washing products. The property is beautifully decorated and a lot of thought has been put into making this an extremely comfortable apartment.

Great spacious accommodation in a good location

We had a great week in Stirling. The flat is spacious and very well equipped - in particular the kitchen. It's about 15 minutes walk to the town centre and well positioned for road network for going further afield. Would definitely stay again if visiting Stirling.

Apartment was spacious and very well equipped, exactly as depicted in the photos. Nice touch that all the cleaning items in the kitchen were new. Beds were comfortably firm. Showers in both bathrooms good re water pressure and temp. Owner very responsive. Would definitely stay again, especially as location just a short walk to centre of town. .

Wonderful Stirling stay

Very quiet and well appointed, nice large rooms and very clean. Tea, coffee, and selection of snacks and crackers provided as Scotland specialties. A very nice touch. Nice outdoor patio with table in a charming, large grassy backyard. Great place.

Great stay

We had a wonderful time at The Laurels. Anne was a great host, excellent communication, very welcome to find milk and some biscuits when we arrived, along with some other treats and a beautiful property. We were a family group of three and found the apartment well appointed and very comfortable. The beds were super comfy, so much so I slept 11 hours one night. Can highly recommend this property.

Wonderful place in Stirling

Our family (2 kids: 3yrs & 6yrs) had a wonderful time staying here. It's a beautiful, spacious and comfortable flat. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome hamper of snacks and coffee, toys for the kids, family board games and use of the huge and lovely garden. The flat is in walking distance of Stirling town centre and King's park, with an excellent play park for kids. We hope to stay here again.
