Great stay!

Wonderful place, location, and people. The pub downstairs was very friendly and had great food. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

This was a great space for our family of 6. Plenty of room, laundry facilities, well appointed kitchen. The location was super convenient, with a great pub downstairs that serves food, and a coop just a short walk away.

The property was very clean and comfortable. The location was ideal for day trips to see the many beautiful locations. Bob was very accommodating and my sisters and I really enjoyed our stay.

Great rental for a group. Lots of space, great kitchen area and a pub downstairs. Our host was quick to respond to questions and we loved the location of the house. Nearby Coop and pharmacy across the road - 30 minute walk to city center. Wonderful experience and very relaxing stay.

Great stay on our golf vacay!

Lovely property - centrally located - quaint - quiet - felt right at home! Great communication with owner. Great place for a lads golf trip, family trip, or couples getaway! Can’t recommend more!

Lovely place to stay

With the covid-19 we had to change our stay several times as we were trying to get home. Bob was amazing in allowing us to change several times. He always answered and responded quickly. Would definitely stay again.

Great location

Bob was a great host. The check in process was easy. The apartment is clean and very spacious. We had some issues the first day with the heating and Bob replied to me quickly and immediately fixed the problemThe quiet neighborhood location was perfect for our home base in the Stirling area. Thank you Bob for letting us enjoy your family home for a few nights.

Perfect during the Festive Season

I highly recommend this well appointed accommodation for both families of all sizes and multiple couples. All the rooms are spacious and the bedrooms come with nice touches such as USB charging points. The addition of a 9 foot plus Xmas tree in the living room was an amazing addition! Being above a pub downstairs wasn't an issue at all in terms of noise and obviously has the upside for those wanting a drink or two in a convivial environment.

Perfect family holiday

The host was immensely responsive throughout the process. We booked months in advance and they responded within the hour any and every time we contacted th through Vrbo site. More was provided on the property than I anticipated, down to washing up liquid and pastries waiting for us. The town is small but butchers and cafe were great, with a co-op just a block or so away, though there was a hill coming back up. :-). Highly recommend!

Comfy but could be cleaner

Bob was a fine friendly host, communicated well, speedy replies. Nice surprise of a welcoming treat of bakeries etc! Comfortable, spacious and homely, clean beds, but elsewhere hadn't been cleaned sadly. Dust even on towel rails. Oven and cooking items were filthy. After my family gave it a thorough clean throughout, had a good week in the flat. (A few 8-legged guests shared our accommodation!) Overall for the price it's good, just needs cleaning better please! Thanks 😊

Absolutely superb

We stayed for two weeks and truly enjoyed the accommodation. Very spacious and lots of room for our extended family of eight. Loved the village atmosphere and proximity to down town Stirling. Bob is a kind and gracious host and always available . He even had us over to his own house for a visit and glass of wine. When we arrived we were surprised and delighted to find some extra gifts such as croissants. milk, juice etc. Very much appreciated after arriving late at night after grueling flights from Victoria, Canada. We visited Foresters Pub downstairs a number of times and it was very handy to host friends and family members visiting us from other parts of Scotland. Sandy the pub owner is very friendly and some of the regulars are indeed characters.. It seems that everyone in Cambusbarron owns at least one dog :-) Will definitely stay there again on our next visit home to Scotland.

A wonderful scottish experience

The house is very comfortable and spacious. It has everything you may need for traveling in the lowlands, and enjoying going back home. A perfect house for staying with kids. And what can we say about Bob. He has been a great help explaining us the best places to visit and providing us everything to make our stay more comfortable. The location is really near Stirling, and a wonderful place to visit The Trossachs, Edimburgh, Fife and many other places. I highly recommend this house and I may say the photos not do justice to reality, as the house is much more beautiful.

Nice old house above a Pub in the sub urban of Stirling. Stirling downtown you can reach bei about 30 - 40 minutes walking. The host, Bob, is very friendly and helpful. Around the corner is a store CO Op where you can buy your daily things for a bigger superstore you need to go to Stirling.

10/10 An Ideal location This flat is the perfect get away for parties of ten or more and even strategically priced to attract couples. There were just four in our group and we loved the place. We made ourselves at home, prepared breakfasts in the kitchen, ate in the spacious dining room, and watched evening movies using the smart tv in the comfy living room. Parking is available on the street, but we took advantage of the top of The Brae as our own parking space just across the street from the pub’s front door. Cambusbarron is centrally located making it the perfect hub for day trips allowing you to avoid the crowds and congested traffic. The convenience is the least attractive element of Cambusbarron, but its people are by far the reason why you travel to Scotland in the first place. The host, has taken care of everything and was onsite within a few minutes to answer our questions when the need arose. The local business owners and the rest of the community members you’ll find are happy to share a story, answer your questions and welcome you as a neighbor. Just thirty steps from your front door is a butcher shop that can provide fresh baked goods and expertly carved meats. Beneath the flat, is a pub that serves up weekly specials that set it apart from the standard pub (Find them on Facebook). A Co-Op is easily within walking distance should you need to stock the refrigerator or grab a last minute snack. All-in-all too good to pass up.

Appartement plein de charme à 2 pas de Stirling

Appartement idéal pour 2 familles, confortable et spacieux. Situé au dessus d'un pub (parfois animé le week-end, personnel et clients très sympathiques) , dans un petit village desservi par un bus pour se rendre à Stirling. Hauts plafonds, moulures, parquet ancien, beaux meubles ...un endroit plein de charme très bien situé pour visiter le sud de l'Ecosse. Bob, le propriétaire, donne de précieux conseils sur les sites à visiter et est disponible si besoin. Parfait pour un séjour réussi entre Glasgow et Edinbourgh 👍

Lovely apartment in a great location, for walking, sightseeing and exploring mid Scotland

Communication with Bob has been great and prompt. The pub below is also very welcoming, good food and beers. Would definitely recommend for a larger group 😀

Perfect for larger group

This flat had exactly what we needed. Owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay, even helped us get our belongings inside. We had wonderful croissant, jam, and snacks left for us as well. The pub downstairs was a great place to meet locals, and everyone was so friendly.
