Everything was perfect.

My family and I really enjoyed this rental. The accommodations were all there that we needed! We truly loved it and definitely will be coming back!!

Our stay was just as we hoped. Everything we needed was provided. This comfy and cozy home was just what we were looking for. Plus the weather was perfect. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

cozy Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The photos don’t even begin to describe how nice it is in reality. The cottage has everything you could need and the location in the center of the quaint town is ideal, literally everything is just outside the door, Super clean and the hostess was fantastic, making sure everything was to our liking.

Location, Location….

We wanted to spend time in Voyageur’s and this was a great cottage to do just that. The cottage had everything that we needed to enjoy our time exploring the area.

We enjoyed our time in Ranier. The house was in great condition, is in a quiet neighborhood and is conveniently located to several activities. The homeowner was quick to answer our questions before and during our stay. Thank you!

Relaxing Vibe

Lovely and clean, well -stocked and conveniently located. Very homey feel. Our host Mary Anne was kind and gracious. Beautiful landscaping. Nice little backyard seating area with grill and fire pit. Highly recommended!

It’s a perfect spot for what we needed. We are big hikers, and the property is very close to Voyageur National Park and beautiful state parks.The property itself has a very traditional, vintage cabin feel about it. I’m a stickler for a clean place and clean bedding. Both very satisfactorily met my expectations.Mary Ann is lovely and also helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Communication with the host was absolutely excellent. The cottage had everything we needed. We stay in a lot of VRBO cabins or cottages. One thing that we OFTEN find is the lack of lighting. Part of the problem is that we're older renters; we need more light. Having said that, this cottage was conveniently located and had a lovely back patio for morning coffees and reading. We had a great pub meal at Cantilever, almost across the street. We enjoyed ice cream in the evenings at Tara's, half a block away on the riverfront. I must say that I had the worst taco in my life at Looney's Taco Bar, but perhaps if I'd have chosen a burrito it would have been better. Not sure.If we were to return to the area, we'd chose to stay here again.

Cozy Cottage was clean and beds were comfortable, but the property is worn looking and dark/dingy feeling. Also, it is only one block away from the train tracks and trains run through the town approximately once an hour. Had to keep the windows closed at night because of the noise. We would not stay there again. It is very convenient to visiting Voyageurs National Park.

We had a wonderful stay - great location, great communication from the property manager, and the cottage is much more spacious than we expected.

Absolutely fantastic

Absolutely fantastic property. Stayed here for a wedding, Mary Ann is extremely accommodating and all around a lovely person. The cottage is warm, welcoming, CLEAN and is perfectly located. I can’t say enough about my stay here

Perfect Cottage for our Family

Great location in Ranier and within 1 block or less walking to the beach and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable! We had some rain too, so being able to login to Netflix on the smart tv was a bonus. Thanks!

Very satisfied

The cottage was clean and comfortable. The patio was particularly relaxing. We enjoyed the plants and flowers that were growing around the property. Delightful!

Fishing getaway

Mary Ann met us with keys, a tour of her English cottage and a brief history of the town of Ranier. Her cottage location was easy to find, within walking distance to Ranier, had a driveway with electrical hookup for overnight parking our boat while we parked our vehicle on the street in front of the driveway. The ramp to put our boat in to Rainy Lake was one block away. We enjoyed grilling meals and sitting by the fire pit in the backyard. Thanks to Mary Ann and her husband, they were instrumental with making our stay a very relaxing visit.

If I could, I would give you "10" stars even though 5 stars are the highest rating. Somehow, there was a technology mistake and your 5 star rating showed only 1. I contacted VRBO and they said nothing could be done. I am very disappointed. You were such respectful, conscientious guests. I contacted VRBO personally and they refused to do anything about the incorrect rating. Thanks again for lodging with me and visiting beautiful Rainy Lake!!

Clean, comfortable and cozy. A great vacation!

My stay was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. The cottage is equipped with everything I needed. Owners on hand and checked in to make sure I was comfortable. Very friendly little town as well. I'll be back!
