Year round lodging in newly remodeled cabin on the shore of Rainy Lake with a private dock in a protected bay. Gas station has a laundromat, bait shop, convenience store and boat launch all within 1/2 mile. Cabin located just outside of Voyageurs National Park. Kitchen includes all cooking necessities, incl. coffee pot and toaster. 2 bedrooms, 2 full size beds in each bedroom. Living room has 2 full size pull out log futons, total of 6 full size beds.

I think it is a really nice place for 4 people. Crowded with 6 and if you are going to use the living room futons for sleeping you need to bring your own bedding/pillows. They are super comfortable, though.

Clean house with a great location. It was very hot during our stay and the portable A/C could not keep up. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms or a couple box fans would have been helpful. I think the limited availability of water (700 gallon tank) should have been in the description. My kids really enjoyed fishing off the dock & observing the wildlife.

We had a lovely stay and hope to return. The property is exactly as it is presented on the website. It was quiet and made our access to Rainy Lake and the fun in Ranier just perfect. Thanks to Skye and family!

Nice stay

We had a great fishing getaway. Property is located ideally so the boat can stay at the dock and leave to go fishing right from there. House is newly remodeled - very nice. Wifi connection. We would definitely stay again.

Nicely remodeled cabin. Super clean and comfortable and well stocked. Location in small cove with private dock is great and the fish house cleaner and nicer than most garages. Will stay again and would recommend for sure. Thanks.

Nice place that was clean and had all necessities. Close to the Federal boat ramp we like to use.Internet/Netflix didn't work for us, but luckily we were there to fish, not be on screens.Fish cleaning house was nice too; we were able to use that some!

Nice, clean , well equipped cabin in the perfect location. 1/2 mile from boat landing, food, gas. bait. I would highly recommend!

Great place to stay

Everything a fisherman needs. Will look to see if this place is available the next time also. Skye was great to work with. Lots of wind while we were up, but the protected area for the boat was great. Thanks again! Darren

Nice, comfortable , roomy. Nicely decorated with hunting trophies. Only a 20 min drive to rainy lake visitor center. Ducks and beavers live nearby. The only thing that was not as listed- no washer/ dryer. You can tell where it was, but i guess because they port in their water, they took them out, but they should update their listing.

Awesome week getaway

This location is great. The waterfront is in a quiet inlet that connects to the big lake. Had no probelms leaving boats tied up to the floating dock while there was 4-5' whitecaps in the lake. The property is very close to 2 towns that have stuff to do if you dont want to be on the lake. The property hosts are very communicative and get back to you quickly. 10/10. Definitely would stay again if we are up in the area.

We arrived and everything was as stated in the bio. Two things - parking needs improvement a bed of gravel would help. I had to clean the gas grill before I couldn’t use it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Otherwise everything was clean and well maintained. I would give them a 4.5 out of 5.

The property was perfect for a fishing trip to Rainy Lake. The fish cleaning shed was excellent. Our only complaint was that the water situation was not disclosed prior to booking. We did not run out of water but it was a constant consideration.

Cabin was clean and nice. Our family enjoyed our stay very much while visiting Rainy Lake and Voyageurs National Park. The host is great with communication and quick with replies. Highly recommend staying here!

Nice House

Good house, nice location. Communication was good. It was hot during our stay and I didn’t see that there was AC. The fans helped but it was hot. Loved watching the otters play in the water out back.

My husband and I purchased this property in Aug 2018. He completely renovated the property that winter, inside and out. Its absolutely beautiful! We have 2 boys who love to fish. Every year we would stay at a resort in Canada for a week, we also came up a few times a year to snowmobile. Now that we have this house, we can spend more family time fishing and snowmobiling.
