In the heart of North Carolina's High Country, this cabin is the perfect getaway. Located on over 100 wooded acres and surrounded by forest you'll enjoy quiet relaxation yet you'll be within 10-30 miles of area attractions. Area attractions include 6 nearby golf courses, snow skiing at Beech, Sugar, or Hawksnest Ski Resorts, antique and craft markets, fishing, hiking, gem mining, horseback riding, rodeos and more. Banner Elk, Boone, Linville Falls, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Penland School, Grandfather Mountain, and Blowing Rock are each no more than 30 miles, some much closer. For a special afternoon visit the Asheville / Black Mountain area and Biltmore Estate. The 8' wide wrap-around porch is a nice place to relax or make use of the gas grill. After dinner stroll to Plumtree, walk the surrounding woods,

Great place. Very private. Weeds high around cabin lots of poison ivy if you are allergic to but you are in the men’s.

Beautiful, relaxing cottage. We arrived Friday afternoon and watched three deer pass by while we were unpacking the car—great greeting! The porch was a peaceful place to spend the morning with coffee and tea. It was a real treat sleep upstairs with the windows open. We would definitely come back.

The cabin is charming, cozy, and comfortable. The view from every window looks like a nature photo. Surrounded by trees, hills, and even saw a doe with two spotted babies. GREAT location! Less than 20 minutes from any special attractions, Linville Falls, Spruce Pine, and Little Switzerland. Kate is a gracious host and communicates quickly in response to questions. Already looking at our calendar to return in the fall. Highly recommend!

Very overgrown , didn’t look like it had been mowed for weeks ! Just needed some attention , porches swept off , etc , no cell service , road very rough going in . We only stayed one nite of our 2 nite stay !!!!

Great place to stay, as this is our second stay. We have also stayed at the neighboring cabin with the same owners. The would go with either cabin anytime of the year. Private, cozy and very comfortable. We will stay again.

It was a great experience. We really enjoyed our time away from all the noise. Love the older aesthetic of the cabin. The claw foot bathtub was unique and gorgeous.

The place was a nice rustic cabin. It was just myself and my wife this trip so it was great for us. The only thing I would suggest is possibly a step to help get in and out of the tub.

A Perfect Mountain Getaway!We had the most wonderful weekend at this charming cabin in the mountains! My boyfriend, our dog Bruno, and I couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and beautiful retreat. Very pleasant

Just a weekend getaway. The cabin was very nice and clean, made it perfect for the weekend I was there. It wasn't too far away from town and local sight's and attractions just All in All a perfect spot to get away from it all.
