Come experience upper level balcony that surrounds the entire boathouse to view the quiet water of the river, jet skier's, boats, canoeing, kayaking, fishing & tubing. So much incredible attention to detail throughout the house. Enjoy the many outdoor amenities, three boat slips, large fenced yard, fishing /sunbathing deck, coffee deck with table & chairs over the water, covered deck with patio table for dining outside. Be sure to bring your camera for the spectacular cypress trees and spanish moss. Going down the river is like a scene in the movie "The Notebook". Take a Tour of the River on Captain Ron's Swamp Tour Boat, it goes right in front of our house. We love coming to the river and enjoying the water. This was the perfect place to stay and close to a boat ramp to put in at. We highly recommended staying here.

This place was so unique, I can see why so many people love coming here. Having never been to this part of Texas - it’s a world unto itself -The property was super clean, well stocked, and the perfect get away if you are looking for rest and relaxation! Highly recommend!

Perfect location for exploring.
The location outside of Karnak is perfect for exploring the area. It was a short drive to the historic towns of Jefferson and Marshall. It was minutes away from the State park and the National Wildlife Refuge. The boat tour was also nearby. The home is right on the river and has a huge deck beside the water where you can relax and enjoy the sights.

Great Getaway!
We recently stayed at this beautiful lake house with our family of four, it was an unforgettable experience! The home was clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was stocked with essentials, which made it easy to reheat prepped meals. We especially enjoyed having a meal on the deck overlooking the bayou . The lake access was a huge plus! We brought our Pontoon along and spent every day exploring the Bayou and Lake Caddo.
We would highly recommend this house to any family looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views and water access

Perfect!
What a great place! It was perfect for us. Some of the things we loved:
- Sitting out on the magnificent boat house deck. Gorgeous!
- So easy to get the kayaks out on the water.
- Easy paddle down the bayou and into the lake. Being alone out in the swamp was magical.
- The house was comfortable for a group of adults, with a cozy seating area that fit all of us, as did the dining area.
- Restaurants close by for when we didn’t want to cook, though we mostly cooked at the house.
- Easy communication with landlord.
We’d definitely go again and recommend this property.

The house is great and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor porches / patios and caught some fish. We used the stove, oven, grill, etc. and all worked great. Plenty of kitchen tools such as a blender, whisk, pots and pans. Beds were comfortable. Great place to park our boat on the covered slip area. The only drawback was that the canal is a very busy area for boats cruising back and forth. Most of the boats were extremely loud and fast. This was Father's Day weekend, so I'm sure that was a factor. This is no fault of the property, of course. And hopefully other weekends or even weekdays would be quieter and less busy on the lake.

Loved It!
Our stay was more than what we expected. We had more than enough space to relax and enjoy all views. The manager was nice and answered any and all communication. We will definitely book again!

Beautiful Deck
We loved our stay at this rental! We had a 1 year old with us and never had to worry about her safety because the whole HUGE deck is covered and fenced…and tons of ceiling and floor fans!!
The owner was awesome, quickly responsive and helpful!!
We loved watching the boats go by all day. This is a very relaxing place! Will recommend!!

Great property
This home is in a great location with easy access to the marinas and the lake. The neighborhood is quiet and the yard is immaculate with a VERY large parking area.
The house itself is very lovely and the back deck is perfect for just sitting and enjoying my morning coffee or a beer and burger in the evenings.

Great outside deck and location
We picked this property for the outdoor space. We fished and read and watch the boats go by. Was really close to the state park to hike and not too far from Jefferson. House had everything we needed, but mostly we were outside or site seeing.

Weekend stay- fishing tournament and shopping
Property and host was excellent! Big spacious house. Very clean and had everything there we needed. And that boat house/pier was so relaxing looking out over the water. Would definitely recommend it!

Piece of heaven on earth!
This home’s location is absolutely stunning. Caddo lake is a piece of heaven on earth! The whole is huge, lots of room to spread out! Outdoor area is where its! I sat outside all day!! Enjoyed the river and all it has to offer!

Just what we needed
I grew up NE Texas and going to Caddo, but living in the city the last 20 years. My dream was to let my little boys see the magic of Caddo (so much to see and let the imagination run wild with what's in those trees and bayous!)
Well we finally got an opportunity to take my two young sons to Caddo, and what a blessing it was! The house was just great for our family. It was spacious and clean. And the beds were so very comfortable. And also an ideal location to the State Park, Big Pines, and not far from Jefferson. Also the views of the river from the boat house was marvelous. I am so thankful we got to book this house and we loved the spot. We rode bikes from the house to Big Pines, fished, and got to kayak. My little boys got to make so many memories in the beautiful woods of Caddo and on the water. Thank you for opening up your home to us and we hope to be back next year.
