Charming Beach Cottage Steps From Beach the with Private Pool in N Forest Beach

This single-level, Forest Beach home is one of the most sought after locations on Hilton Head. Why? One of the reasons is there is no public parking access to it so only the residents can walk there. Just a 2 minute walk to the sand! But, by beach or bike path you are only a 5 minute bike ride from famous 'Coligny' and all the unique shops, restaurants, public beach, grocery stores, and watering holes. The island has lots of Outlet malls, Restaurants, Marina's, with Tennis and Golf facilities which are just around the corner from this centrally located home. But the best part is, you are in a quiet forest area and only 6 houses from the beach, and includes a wagon. ( other renters sometimes leave some beach things behind.) There is secured Wi-Fi, parking for 4 cars and a fully supplied kitchen & laundry. A private screened in pool. Open floor plan. Kitchen includes upgraded appliances. Tile flooring extends throughout the living and dining areas. The dining area offers seating for up to ten. The living area includes ample seating, with large flat screen television, and DVD player.
The master suite has a king bed, with a private bathroom. Bedroom two has two full beds and bedroom three has a queen bed. Bedrooms two and three share the hallway bathroom that has a shower-tub combo.

Great place

We had a great trip. House was perfect for us. We traveled with my parents and my young kids. My sister who has disabilities was with us and was able to get around the house well. We spent a lot of time in the pool and at the beach, which is just a short walk. Location was great. House had some minor things, like a door knob falling off and a toilet that ran continuously but nothing that affected our stay too much. The owner was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly. We would love to come back another year!

Second time visit

This was our second summer vacation spent here. We love the location and comfortability of the house. The pool is such a bonus for us and our kids. The backyard and area around the pool needs some work and cleaning. We still love this property regardless. The location is wonderful- just a couple minutes to the beach and Coligny. Thank you again for a wonderful vacation in HHI.

Nice place for a family vacation.

This house was just right for our family. We love the North Forest Beach area, so the location is great. Not a bad walk to the beach even with young kids. The house was clean and well stocked. Communication with the owner was excellent! The pool was cold, but I didn't inquire about heating it and it didn't stop us from enjoying it (especially our grandkids). The area around the pool was dirty (black/green slimy areas) probably from debris coming through the screen above, so it could use a good cleaning. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The house was very clean and comfortable and short distance from the beach . It was in need of repair and window cleaning . Outside yard was not kept up. But overall, we had a great experience !

Sandpiper Preferred

Quiet, preferred and convenient location. Home was nicely decorated, very clean open floor plan. Perfect for family gathering. The amenities and kitchen supplies were just right. Most importantly, property owner is extremely responsive, answered all my questions efficiently and effectively. The only shortfall was the pool deck hadn’t been addressed by cleaning crew in some time, pool furniture was dated and not friendly to those over 50yrs old. The outdoor grill was in need of repair (rusted and broken burners) and there was not an umbrella on the outdoor patio table for anyone that wanted to sit outside. Loved the screened in pool area that allowed us to enjoy the pool any time of day without bug issue. We look forward to future stays at this now “favorite” property. Please don’t let the pool comment deter you, these owners are very attentive and I know they care about every detail.

Wonderful trip

We had a great two weeks and plan to stay again. Beds were comfortable, house was clean, kitchen was fully stocked, TVs in every room and the proximity to the beach was amazing. We had some issues with the pool staying heated and it seemed to not stay clean. The pool equipment itself might need to be updated but it wouldn’t keep us from renting again. We loved that we were able to bring our dog with us. Overall this was our favorite place to stay in HHI.

Location is so good!

Such a quick, easy walk to the beach. We loved the shaded bike/walking path! The neighborhood the home is lovely and peaceful, but you can easily get to all the action in Coligny if you want. Very comfortable home. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Family Getaway

We can't wait to come back next year! The location was amazing. The house was very clean. The owner incredibly responsive. We asked if the pool could be heated and within an hour, their pool company was out on a Sunday early evening. Thank you for your beautiful home. The common space was so perfect. A beautiful kitchen, family room dining space. The pool amazing. Loved that it was screened in. 5 Stars for cleanliness inside the home. We loved that our grand puppy could join us on our vacation. Nice having a totally fenced in yard for him. The yard space outside the lanai needed some cleanup but we would not hesitate coming back. Also, bring your own soap and shampoo:) Thank you Rebecca for your beautiful home.

Great location and property

Great neighborhood and close 2 minute walk to beach is accurate. We loved the property, extremely clean, and nice considering it is dog friendly. Had a great trip my sister and I were there with our parents for the weekend and this was our first trip to Hilton Head. The house had everything we needed and more. Not really any complaints just maybe add some outside lighting for nighttime and there were a few door handles that needed tightening. Would definitely stay here again and we loved our stay at Hilton Head.

Great vacation cottage!

Super cute cottage with an amazing kitchen. Fenced backyard was perfect for our family dogs. The pool looked lovely, although the weather was too cold during our stay to use it. Just a short walk to beautiful beach. I would definitely recommend and look forward to staying here again sometime.

Christmas Vacation

We had a wonderful four nights at this property. The fenced in yard was perfect for our two older dogs. We were conveniently located and loved the house! We would definitely stay there again!

Great Getaway

Location was fabulous - easy walk to the beach, Coligny Plaza, and restaurants. Quiet street was also nice. The pool got a lot of use! We would definitely rent this house again.

This is our 2nd time to stay here and we will come back. It has everything you need and a close walk to beach. Convenient to restaurants and shops. I recommend this house.

Great Family Beach Vacation

We had a great time. There were 7 of us (very active adult couple and five 20/30 somethings ) Location is excellent and great for a family vacation! Beach is a very short walk across a road (literally 1 block) and down the path to the beautiful beach. Great to swim, run, bike, etc. Beach is gorgeous and relatively private although lots of activity down the beach either way if you want it. Also lots of (miles) of shaded non beach Bike paths to all locations. Lots of restaurants, shops, grocery, bike rentals within a short distance (Coligny Plaza) and good restaurants and entertainment also a short ride or drive away. Also well located for day visits to Harbor town/Sea Pines, golf courses or other places on the island. House had nice screened in pool as well which was nice. Very accessible back yard to park bikes and gas grill just outside of pool. House was very clean and well stocked with towels, pots pans, utensils, etc. and to cook there as well. Had a couple minor issues with an air conditioner on the first night but the very nice hosts immediately got it fixed and were invested in making sure everything was great. Would definitely recommend it for a wonderful time!

Wonderful Spot

The location can’t be beat! We walked to the beach, sometimes twice a day! The pool was fabulous and got used multiple times per day. It’s the perfect size for a family with small kids. It’s only 5ft or so at the deep end and there’s a seat, so if you’re worried with young kids this was wonderful. Size of house was exactly what we needed. Beds were so comfortable. We will be back!

Great location

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The house worked well for our group and we loved the big open kitchen/family room/dining space. The proximity to the beach was perfect and the chairs and towels provided by the host were great. The only drawback was the cleanliness of the house. The vents had mold covering them, the walls and corners were covered with cobwebs and the exterior of the house had lots of mold/mildew and a variety of insect nests from front to back. Also, you should bring your own blow dryer and we had to purchase laundry detergent at the local store to wash the provided towels. Sometimes rentals provide guests with a few amenities like soap or shampoo - this house does not so be prepared to pack or purchase. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives. I list them so future guests will have a clue before checking in and not be surprised. I did contact the owner on the above issues. They were acknowledged but no offer was made to correct at the time of our stay.

Would stay again

Very nice place. Close to the beach. Would stay again. We only had a few issues. The closet door in the back bedroom kept falling off almost hitting me and my grandson, 2 of the chairs on the pool deck were broken and the pool deck is in desperate need of a cleaning, we also noticed the day before we left that the air vent in the kitchen by the sink had mold on it. Even with those issues we all had a really good time. The kids loved playing in the pool.

Wonderful location!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely single story north forest beach home. There were plenty of beds for 2 couples and two children. It is 6th row from a private beach access so you can't beat the location. The kitchen is spacious and had most everything we needed. The cooking pans could use replacing, and the fridges water dispenser was broken, but there were plenty of trash bags and dish washer tabs, etc! Laundry is very convenient right off the kitchen! The house was very clean upon arrival. The only area that needed attention was the screened in pool area. We had to clean all the pool chairs before sitting in them and the pool deck needs power washed! The pool water itself was clean and a lovely addition for my kids to the stay. Mosquitoes were still a problem at night though even with it being screened in. The king bed mattress was very firm, a good thing in my opinion. My only complaint with the linens is there was only one pillow case on each pillow. As air b&b hosts ourselves, we've learned it's important to put zipper cases on each pillow under the pillow case similar to a waterproof mattress cover. It'll protect the pillows, protect against stains, and give peace of mind to the guests. The home has plenty of pool towels, board games, dvds, and beach chairs! These were all great positives!! Overall, I still give this home a 5 star rating for its spaciousness, beautiful kitchen, and fantastic location!

Perfect family getaway in quiet neighborhood.

We loved this property. Quiet neighborhood, very nice house, great screened in swimming pool, and a very short, easy walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful and never crowded. Our 9 year old loved the pool for the afternoon between morning and evening beach visits. Would definitely stay here again.
