We had the most incredible holiday at des Olivers. The house was absolutely perfect and had everything we could have needed. Greeted by stunning scenery every morning and surrounded by love & laughter what more could we want. The perfect family getaway

Peace, views and sunshine

It was just what we were looking for- a quiet and peaceful holiday with lovely views. Just over an hour from Nice airport, tucked up in the hills near pretty villages. The house was light and spacious, the pool had great views and we could walk to the boulangerie. Very helpful hosts and local contacts.

Pure Bliss

Our family stay at this wonderfully peaceful villa turned out to just what we all needed. The villa is set amongst very ancient olive groves and looks over the hills of Bargemont. Our whole group were thoroughly relaxed within minutes of arrival with everything already in place. The infinity pool next to the house where you can look out over the hills is magical. Cannot wait to go back.

Little piece of paradise

We had an amazing stay at Bastidon des Oliviers and couldn’t have wished for a better place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the south of France. The house is all you want for a relaxing stay (very accurately shown in the photos), with a beautiful garden, fresh pool, several terraces to enjoy food and drinks, and quiet and peaceful surroundings. There’s even a pétanque area! The bedrooms are comfortable, dark at night and as quiet as can be for a restful sleep. There’s a big book with local recommendations, and we could’ve easily stayed another week enjoying the beautiful nature and cute French towns. Also make sure to get some bread from the bakery in Claviers, which is the best baguette we’ve ever tried (and my boyfriend comes from France!) Communication with the host was very smooth, and although we didn’t have any problems, I’m sure they’d be able to solve it as soon as they can if the occur. Thanks so much for our wonderful week, would absolutely return.

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful relaxing week. The whole family loved the house, pool and surroundings. Plenty to do in the area but the peaceful is hard to leave. Thank you

Empfehlenswert

Familienfreundliches, sehr gut ausgestattetes, sauberes Ferienhaus mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ruhige Lage (Auto erforderlich), sehr schöner Garten, ideal als Basis für einen Wanderurlaub. Sehr freundliche, jederzeit erreichbare Vermieter, die sich viel Mühe geben.

Fabulous location

We really loved our time at Bastidon des Oliviers villa. The accommodation, facilities, pool and setting were all excellent. We particularly appreciated the peace and quiet of the location and the proximity to Claviers and Bargemon - as well as the many other hilltop villages. We would definitely recommend both the villa and area and certainly hope to be back.

Lovely Villa in great setting

We had a really enjoyable stay at the villa. The setting is superb, with lovely views all round and the pool is delightful. The villa itself is very comfortable, extremely well equipped and furnished and very well looked after. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to provide information on how everything works as well as the local area and we very much appreciated the fact that they were on hand if needed. We would definitely return as the area is also very beautiful and has so much to offer.

Lovely

Spent a lovely week in Claviers. Ideal location to explore the many villages and not too far from the coast. Villa was very comfortable, loads of space inside and out. Owners on hand when we arrived to show us around and welcome us. The kitchen and bathrooms could do with a little updating, but that is only a little comment. Would highly recommend to others.

Brilliant vacation

My friends and I enjoyed one of our best ever holidays staying at the villa accommodation at Bastidon des Oliviers last summer. For us it ticked all the boxes for a perfect vacation. The villa was well located between two delightful villages – Clavier and Bargemon that provided an excellent choice of restaurants and comestibles – the morning stroll to get the bread and fruit in Clavier was a joy in itself. The villa was comfortable, excellently maintained and well equipped. We all particularly enjoyed the privacy offered and the views from the infinity pool. A brilliant holiday, we’ll be back for two weeks next time. SSJ Topsham, Devon.
