Great view of the lake, close enough to stores and restaurants but far enough to feel like your are out of the hustle and bussle of everyday life. The host was very good at messaging.

Very nice house and location. Patrick was very responsive. The living space was very comfortable. There were two items to improve upon. The first is the mattresses could have been updated and there could have been a little more lighting.

We had a last minute reservation and the host made the entire process smooth as can be. The house was exactly as advertised, with beautiful views and tons of wildlife to watch and enjoy throughout our trip! We will definitely be returning in the future! Thank You

All in all was a good weekend. Would consider it again if I go back to the Poconos. I think what would improve and some maintenance with the outside mostly. Wasn't to sure about the dock also could use maintenance . Wouldn't be alot to improve first impressions. Thank you

Property listing very accurate, nice and serene quiet lake side property. Very accommodating with rooms, kitchen utensils, canoe, fire pit and basic cleaning supplies. We are definitely interested in coming back!

The property is in need of some significant maintenance. The canoe is very unstable due to repairs that were insufficient and has a leak. We took on water immediately after launching. We could not use it. The deck needs to be replaced and there is literally packing tape holding the railing together. The front steps are unstable and the top step is 9” tall making access difficult for senior citizens. The upstairs bed is in a loft with zero privacy. If the person sleeping upstairs wants to go to bed prior to others, it is difficult because of the noise down below. We had a great time and the area is very pretty but we were disappointed by the condition of this property.

Hi Jim: Thank you for your brief stay at my house. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with the house. It's rare for me to address such slight comments. My house is well maintained as indicated in the numerous five star reviews ahead of your overnight visit and I am sure you experienced the recent renovations to the interior which are attractive and enjoyed by my more moderate guests. I have never received a comment about the front steps and you did not inform me that guests with frailties were among your group that could not manage steps . Had you done so, I would have informed you that it is a house and that there are steps to it and in it. The are multiple photos of the house indicating it is a A frame chalet and the description indicates the upstairs bedroom is a loft with stunning views of the lake. I provide the description for potential guests to read and know ahead of time. The photos also show steps. Thank you for your information about the canoe. I will have it checked out, but the guests who checked out just hours before you checked in used the canoe and enjoyed using it. But of course always best to be safe. Your stay may have been improved with a more careful review of the description or asking me questions, which, as you know, I was more than glad to respond to. Enjoy the rest of your autumn and again, I do appreciate you selecting my house. Patrick

Hi Rebecca: Thanks so much for your review. I am glad you enjoyed yourselves. It sounds like you had a great time. I just finished a $75,000 renovation to the house. I am sure you saw and enjoyed the new floors, kitchen, bathrooms, beds, etc. But vacation properties are always a work in progress and I am glad the progress I have had so far, played such a nice role in your 30 hour visit. You were a satisfactory guest and next time you will have to stay long enough to really see what the house is like and what the area has to offer. Have a great summer. Patrick

The cabin was rustic but clean and lovely. We had a relaxing and rejuvenating time here. The property’s beauty is remarkable. We also enjoyed nearby treasures like Delaware Water Gap National Park, Raymondskill Falls and the little town of Milford (think Mayberry RFD). Milford had several quaint stores and restaurants, as well as Grey Towers Castle - open for tours. I highly recommend this place!!

The cabin was easy to find and very clean, right on the lake. There is a beach right down the road. Some things were inaccurate about the listing (no single hideaway bed) and although there was a canoe available for use it had a hole in it.

The property is beautiful. The house as well. If it wasn't for the fact we left the dogs at home with a sitter, I would never want to leaveThere's a calming energy here. Peaceful. The deer were my favorite thing by far of the trip. They nestle at night on the other side of the driveway. It's amazing how well they coexist with their human neighbors. Totally unfazed. Every morning we had coffee with mama and baby. My husband was sick the entire time so we didn't get to adventure, but the property is so relaxing it didn't even matter. Patrick was great. Very patient with me texting him. Very polite. The whole experience was a delight and he would love to come stay again. My only two complaints were my husband being sick and we didn't get to experience any bears lol.nothing at all to do with the property and host Thank you Patrick for allowing us to use your beautiful home. 10/10 ,
