Premier Holmes County Getaway Between Mohican and Amish Country!

As with all our guests these folks were fantastic! And I actually got to meet them because I was still there doing a refresh on the outdoor stuff and they were early! It all worked out and was a pleasant surprise, because since Covid, I’ve had very few chances to meet our visitors. We’re glad they had a great time visiting and look forward to an opportunity to host them again in the future!

This is what we love to share with each guest who visits us. It is our joy and pleasure to provide a well furnished, clean, beautifully maintained home for others to relax and refresh their spirits during their visit. We have so many wonderful people who work with us from our landscapers and mowing service to our environment and cleaning crews; all help in providing a beautiful stay for our guests. We would love to have you visit us again!

We love sharing this great space with great people like these guests and they are right it is very peaceful there! It is definitely a place to relax if you are escaping the busyness of everyday city life! We do need to issue a correction here though. The Lodge has a peaceful outdoor space near the woods with a covered pavilion in the back of the house, off the kitchen area, that also has a beautiful stone, wood burning fireplace NOT a fire pit. There is seating for six around the oval polywood table under roof. There is a park style grill nearby. It is much like the ones provided at the state park. These are private outdoor amenities to guests at the Lodge. There are two buildings on this 72 acre property within a very short walk. Our Barn has a fire pit surrounded by a stamped concrete patio and polywood seating. There is also a pergola with a wood picnic table for guests to use. We just want to make sure future guests aren't confused, these are separate rentals and amenities are reserved for guests of each specific rental. We designed each as a unique outdoor experience for our guests benefit.

These guests were great! Communication was good and they took fantastic care of the home. I think they enjoyed their time with us at our Whitetail Ridge location and hope they visit again. There are so many wonderful things to do in our area, or just come back for the scenic tranquility!

These guests were wonderful! Not only did they leave the home in excellent condition but a thunderstorm during their stay, caused the power to blink and tripped the breaker. They were able to reset it saving me an after hours service call AND it got the AC working for them to enjoy the evening! They were the nicest people and I hope they do come to see us again!

This gorgeous timber frame home is definitely a step into spacious luxury in a surprising setting. We love it and are glad they did too!

We always love the positive feedback from our guests! We know it is so much MORE than what we can say about this gorgeous property. The pictures don't do it justice and the seasonal changes, especially spring and fall are stunning! We would love to host this wonderful group again or anyone else who wants something "close to about everything", but off the beaten path!

These guests were great communicators and they left the place in wonderful condition. We would welcome them back anytime! We did the throw pillows and blankets pre-covid but providing these extra special amenities requires a bit more cleaning on top of the 12-15 load of laundry a regular full house stay generates. I would suggest if you have a favorite snuggle blanket to watch tv or take a nap, bring that along next time! The hot tub has been discussed many times and with the wild life (now including black bears) it probably isn't something we can safely do for our guests or the animals at this time.

We try to provide the best in comfort and quality inside and out on our properties. It’s our hope guests can immerse themselves in this and just relax for a weekend, a week or longer! Maria and company were fantastic gracious guests we would love to host again anytime.

This couple was a delight to host and we can’t wait until they visit us again. Sometimes you just feel like when you meet a new guest they have been friends for a long time and that’s the way we felt when we met them! Wonderful people!

These guests were exceptional! Everything was left in place. Its always a joy to come in with my cleaning crew, and although everything is cleaned and sanitized between guests; to find it in good order! It allows us the extra time to do the little things to keep our place a beautiful property for our next guests!
