Green Creek Retreat- Pet Friendly Family Retreat, On the Way to Yellowstone!

Welcome to Green Creek Retreat, a private mountain home ideally located between historic Cody and the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Set against the breathtaking Absaroka Mountain Range, this scenic property offers panoramic views and the peaceful sounds of Green Creek flowing right through the land. Perfectly positioned about 30 minutes from both Cody and Yellowstone, this retreat allows you to explore the best of the region while enjoying a quiet, wildlife rich setting.

Inside, the spacious open floor plan features wood flooring throughout and newly updated furnishings and amenities for elevated comfort. The fully equipped kitchen and generous dining area make gathering easy for families and groups. The living room centers around a cozy wood burning fireplace with direct access to the backyard. The primary bedroom includes a queen bed, stunning mountain views, and an attached bath with walk in shower. Bedroom 2 offers a queen bed overlooking the private backyard, while Bedroom 3 features two twin beds that are perfect for kids. A second full bathroom with tub and shower combination serves the additional bedrooms, and a sofa sleeper in the living room allows space for up to seven guests.

Step outside to experience multiple outdoor living spaces designed to take full advantage of the views and fresh mountain air. The front patio showcases unobstructed Absaroka mountain vistas, while the large, fully fenced backyard provides a beautifully landscaped green space ideal for families, pets, and outdoor games. Enjoy seating areas, a charcoal grill, and direct trail access to the creek. Wildlife such as mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, fox, coyote, and a variety of birds are frequent visitors, making every stay feel uniquely Wyoming. Spacious, scenic, and perfectly located between Cody and Yellowstone, Green Creek Retreat is your mountain home base for unforgettable adventures. Please note that Yellowstone's East Entrance is closed to regular vehicle traffic from November 1 through May 1, with winter access available by guided snowcoach or snowmobile tours.

Wonderful house located 35 minutes from Yellowstone NP and 30 minutes from Cody, WY. Very nice fenced back yard for my pup. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

The pictures do not do the view justice! Absolutely beautiful view ! The house was clean. The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed. Our 12-year-old said his bed was also comfortable .The yard was nice with a fenced in backyard that would have been great for our dog if we had brought him. There was patio seating in the back and front to enjoy the outdoors. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, even some spices, coffee filters ,and pods for the Keurig. The location was also great ! We had a 30-minute drive to the east gate of Yellowstone and a 30-minute drive to Cody for gas and groceries. Communication with the host was fast and easy. They were nice and very thorough and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this property and plan to return !

This is a gem of a property near Yellowstone. Very pet friendly with the fenced in yard. Gorgeous views from both front and back yard areas.

we really enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and extremely quiet! The fenced backyard was a great place for our dogs, the fence even foiled our escape artist min-pin. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to booking it again

Great Place to Get Away

This property was just as described. A very relaxing place to enjoy time on the deck and a short drive from Yellowstone or Cody. I would book again if I'm in the area.

Great place to stay for eastern entrance to Yellowstone.Stayed for 4 nights and place was great, 25 min to Yellowstone east gate to start exploring. 20 minutes to Cody the other way. The cabin was clean and as advertised. Had a problem with a shower door, a quick text and someone was sent right down to fix it. Very good response. A fenced in backyard for dog saftey, every morning 2 deer jumped the fence to relax for the morning. Overall great experience I would have no issues renting agian if i am in the area.

Perfect for family. Gorgeous view

The house was clean and plenty of room for 7of us. Beds were comfortable.our favorite thing was sitting on the front porch with the amazing views. Close to Cody and Yellowstone. It was the perfect house.

Highly recommend

Short family get away sand this place was wonderful. We enjoyed watching the rabbits out the window each morning and the amazing views. The house was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beds are also comfy!

Very comfortable and clean home. Loved the fenced in yard for our dog. Good kitchen with most everything you could need. The views are striking. Would stay again if we could.

Beautiful dog friendly house near Yellowstone.

This house was in a great location with a fantastic back yard complete with swing and the beautiful sound of rushing water. The renting company Cody Lodging was awesome and very responsive when there was a forest fire down the road giving us an alternate place to stay should we choose to leave. Really nice living space and neighbors.

House was beautiful and so were the views! Lawn could have been maintained better and fridge was inoperable during our stay. Management company was very responsive and helpful when it came to addressing the fridge. Location was perfectly located between Cody and the east entrance of Yellowstone. Overall would recommend.

Green Creek Retreat

The home was spacious and clean. We had everything we needed for our stay, except for food and personal items. The views were incredible on almost all sides. We did not need to contact the property owners as they provided all the information we needed prior to our stay. The home is about 30 minutes outside of Cody, which was perfect for us because it was close to great hikes.

Excellent House & Setting

The house was clean & well-equipped, one of the best we’ve stayed in. Its an easy drive into Cody for groceries/stores/museum, and a longer drive of about an hour & 15 mins to get to Fishing Bridge in the Park. We knew it was a longer drive into the Park than you can get from other entrances, but we wanted a quieter setting & this place delivered. We loved capping our evenings out on the deck & then looking at stars after dark. The property manager was terrific— great communication before we arrived.
