Excellent view, very clean and management very attentive to our needs. Accommodations were good; floor is not level; water pressure was low at times.

Loved that it was pet friendly but the neighbors dogs were not friendly, we needed to keep ours on the other side of cabin. At night there was NO,light outside. The dust to Dawn light was not working. Thank god we had a flashlight with us. Getting in and out of driveway was not handy. You have to drive through the neighbors driveway where their dogs would run close to your car tires . They didn’t come out of their yard, I believe had an under ground wire was there. The view was nice, the cabin was fair, over all I would rate it a 3/5.

We didn’t expect a positive review from this party that was unfriendly and disgruntled about not being able to cancel some nights without getting a full refund outside of the cancellation policy. We are one of the few properties on the lake that take dogs and never had any complaints. We took the guests 3 dogs which were unleashed and didn’t respect property lines. The yard light does work. The could have texted us for help on turning it on. They could have mentioned how convenient the access was to the trail for their large UTV.

Beautiful view of the lake

Really enjoyed our stay. Very nice to have use of a dock, a gorgeous view, and close to town. Cabin was cozy and quiet and well-appointed with any dishes and utensils that we needed.

cozy rustic cabin with beautiful lake view

The location of this cabin is amazing! Beautiful view of the lake and the sunsets at night from the deck. The cabin has a very rustic and cozy feel. I would definitely stay here again.

Cabin was small with bad water pressure. The dock is in shallow water so beware if docking boat there. The pillows are old and gross. A few light bulbs in the cabin were burnt out. The host does not provide any hand towels or a bathmat. Only one parking space next to the cabin. No A/C and windows do not open in bedrooms. A box fan is provided. Wi-Fi worked well.

Kadie, Your review is not accurate. We were told by our cleaning person that ONE of the light bulbs was burnt out. We didn't want to enter the property to correct until you were there, unfortunately you were never around to address in person. There is a rug in the bathroom, sorry it wasn't a bathmat that you require. There is more than one parking space next to the cabin and the windows do open in the bedroom, people open them all the time. The lake is lower right now due to a severe drought in the area. We don't recall you even having a boat in the water. Maybe another property with a higher price point would be a better fit for you.

Perfect little cabin for a weekend getaway.

Decided to stay here for a long weekend getaway. The view of the lake can't be beat. Pricing was great as well. Communication with property owner was quick and concise.

July trip

The water views were beautiful. Spent lots of time on the dock watching the loons. The lake was clear and made for easy rock hunting and kayaking.

COMFY CABIN

This cabin was perfect for the 4 of us & had everything we needed. Although not directly on the lake - beautiful view of it. Close to restaurants, bars & casino. Our hosts were very kind & accommodating. We would definitely return.

The view is amazing! It is a rustic, Northwoods cabin as advertised. Sorry to hear the DVD was not working. Wish you would have told us so that we could have addressed it at the time.

Fabulous stay!

We had an amazing time during our stay at this cabin! We have been coming up for years and thought we would try something other than camping. We will definitely rent here again! Amazing views of Lake Metonga, great boat access, close enough to town and the beach…just a lot of great things to say. Kathy was awesome to work with from the start. Very personable, communicated quickly, and we had everything we needed. Thank you again Kathy for allowing our family to stay on your property…we can’t wait to do it again!

Beautiful sunsets

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Kathy’s cottage. We like it because it is old with character and the view is to die for . Listening and watching the loons from the porch along with the eagles . A piece of heaven. Thank you again Kathy for everything!

Not very good conditions tolet held together with duct tape floors very out of level stairs to dock steep had to cross road to get to dock not impressed would never stay there agian left early 4days just not very good conditions so we left stayed at casino.

I was impressed! Very beautiful and peaceful. Cabin was great except hot water was Luke warm. The fishing sucked.

Great sun set views

A cosy two-bedroom cottage, clean, beds were better than expected. Close to other cottages and other houses. The kitchen worked well for us. The swim area could easily be improved with a clearing of rocks for a walkout and by adding a ladder to the dock. The nice beach area 100 feet away was off-limits yet was owned by resort owners.
