This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath, beach house is perfectly situated just minutes from downtown Encinitas and steps away from Moonlight Beach. Everything you need is within walking distance from the house - trendy restaurants, relaxing hangouts, parks, library, coffee-houses, and more. It's the perfect backdrop for a private beach escape or a family getaway.

The home features a:
• new carpet, tile, interior paint and remodeled bathrooms.
• bright living room with a fireplace, large sectional sofa, flat screen TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, and Wi-Fi.
• fully equipped kitchen and separate dining area
• master bedroom is furnished with a luxurious king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with natural stone and tile
• two twin bedrooms with a large separate bathroom (pack n' play available)
• private garage stocked with beach toys and boogie boards and plenty of space to park without having to fight the beach traffic
• new high-efficiency washer and dryer
• private, gated backyard with barbeque, firepit, eating area, elevated deck and lawn

Moonlight Beach has recently updated all of its facilities and it is a beautiful, family friendly beach with an adjacent green area and park. There are three sand-volleyball courts, barbecue pits and plenty of space to build your dream sandcastle, hit the surf or scan the seas for a passing pod of porpoises.

Fantastic location!

This property close to moonlight beach was fantastic for our young family of four. It's close to the beach and the main street in Encinitas. The property is in a quiet, safe street and is a really comfortable family home! Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Great beach house with everything you need!

This house is set up with everything you could need for a beach vacation. Perfect place for families with kids. Quiet neighborhood, easy walk to the beach, and tons of restaurants etc nearby.

Great Location

One of the best VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed at! Very clean and plenty of room for our family get together and being able to walk to Moonlight Beach was a definite plus! Close to restaurants and downtown Encinitas as well. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful Stay

Great Getaway

I cannot speak highly enough about this property and the owners.The location was perfect for our family vacation. Moonlight Beach was a three minute walk, and great food and shopping were just a short walk too. Everything at the property was clean, comfortable, and in great working condition. There is a washer and dryer and everything you need for the beach. There are two bikes to ride around on, and a beautiful deck to sit on in the evening. Erin was extremely accommodating and immediately responsive to all of our questions. We highly recommend this place!

Amazing location, well stocked

Location is perfect, easy walk to the beach and ice cream! This is the most well stocked house we've ever rented - they literally have everything. Backyard is beautiful and we ate all our meals on the deck. Would be 5 stars if there wasn't a mold issue in the house (the asthmatics in our family felt it...).

Very Close to the Beach!

We really enjoyed our stay that this home. It has everything that you would need including bikes, wet suites, surf boards and sand toys. If I had to pick something to improve I would want a bigger light in a back yard so you could see the grill better and maybe even eat outside when it is dark out. Other than that it was exactly what we needed. We walked down to the beach everyday. The water was rough when we where there but it was so beautiful and the surfers are always fun to watch. The house is only 35 mins from San Diego so it was an easy drive to the Zoo and Sea World. We enjoyed Swamis Beach at low tied. Cali Cream is just up the road with the most amazing ice cream. Thanks for a great stay!!

Wonderful Fit For Our Family

Amazing location - just steps from Moonlight beach and easy walk to main shops, restaurants, coffee shops. Bikes were great to have and can explore a lot of the area without a car. Loved having 3 bedrooms and large kitchen. Garage and all if it’s outdoor and beach fun gear was great to have. Nice backyard space to hang out in too.

Great again!

This was our second or third time staying at this property. It’s wonderful and I like it a lot. Easy check-in everything I needed was there, and it’s a great location. The house is cute and clean.

Wonderful place. Can't beat the location. You will be happy here. Television setup is a little more complicated than it needs to be. We hope to stay here again.

Family oriented

We were in the San Diego area for the La Jolla Labor Day Classic youth soccer tournament, so we needed a house to accommodate three adults and three kids, two of whom were competing in the tournament. The house was perfect for location to the fields, Moonlight Beach, grocery stores, etc. Having two bathrooms was a must, and the big kitchen/dining area we used often to cook our own meals to save money as the kids eat a lot! The beach was a welcome reprieve after all day games, so having the bikes, toys, towels etc. at our disposal was very convenient. This cute house is stocked with all necessities, and it is a quiet and relaxing place to be in busy Encinitas. It's much better than a hotel stay!

Great little beach house in Encinitas

This was our second year in a row staying here. Just like the first time, we had a great stay! Perfect place for a small family. The location is in a nice quite neighborhood that is still very close to moonlight beach and all the action of Encinitas!

Best place to stay for a beach vacation!

We have been back for 4 years to stay at this property and always love our vacation. The house is spacious and walkable to beach, shops and restaurants. We hope to come back for year 5!

Perfect location and house

Minus a bit of a mix up with the cleaners the day we arrived that was quickly remedied by calling the property manager everything was perfect. The beach walk was short and easy. The toys they had for the beach were amazing. The house itself worked great to invite our family staying for a bbq and to play games at night. There was plenty of sitting room and the kitchen lay out was lovely. We also loved the first aid kit as we had one kid who needed a band aid. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for the well stocked and accessible house.

Great stay, great location

Location location location. Also, the house is clean, comfortable, and kitchen is well stocked. Great supply of stuff for the beach, including wagon and wetsuits (rent your board at Concept Surf Shop). Walking distance to Moonlight and downtown in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Communication with host was great. Our family (including two young kiddos) would stay here again.

Perfect for families

This place was stocked full of everything you want to bring but don’t have room for in your luggage. Beach towels, sand toys, wagon, beach chairs, games, wet suits (super clutch!), everything for the kitchen and more. We thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to the beach and Encinitas area. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

This home has been in our family since the 1970s. It has been loved and nurtured through 4 generations of family. It's our happy place. Our grandparents bought it before anyone really knew just how cool Encinitas was. We have storyboards of memories with our families on Moonlight Beach. To say it is near and dear to our hearts, is an understatement. In 2017, Erin, Tiffany and I (Piper), cousins and sisters, embarked on the adventure of keeping the legacy alive. With increasing expenses, that meant we needed to rent the house so that we could keep it in our family for our children and our children's children. It gives us great joy to share the house and to know that other people love it as much as we do.
