Our stay was amazing! If you like nature and solitude you'll love this place. It was a beautiful cabin in the middle of the forest and we loved our stay. Very clean and great communication from the owner.

This cabin was exactly what I was looking for to escape away into the forest with my dog for a few days! Absolutely wonderful to step right out and onto trails to enjoy exploring! Love the bells and things along the way. Beautiful little peaceful retreat! Everything you need!

Simple, cozy cabin in a peaceful setting. Not far from several towns. Really grateful for a noon check out which allowed a non rushed morning.I highly suggest taking the family to Sky Zone orchard about 45 minutes away.

Coffee on the back deck in the morning surround by trees and birds chirping was a tranquil and peaceful way to start the day. Hikes at Table Rock were lovely and less than 20 minutes away. Fire pit afterwords before bedtime was the perfect ending of the day. My wife, dog-o and I enjoyed this retreat for our 11th wedding anniversary. Thank you to David and Kerry!

This cabin is a gem. It is surrounded by the beautiful nature of the southern Appalachian area.if you are looking for beauty and seclusion but a very comfortable stay, this cabin is it.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It was a cabin in the woods; it was peaceful and quiet; and great to hear the trees and the various animals. Really enjoyed it!

I greatly enjoyed my 1-month stay at this quiet, peaceful cabin in the woods. The cabin is comfortable, well-equipped, and well-maintained. The surrounding forest is beautiful, and the hosts have laid out several trails throughout the property that were fun to hike. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this cabin!

As we drove up to the little cabin my husband said, "You did good!" He said the same thing at the end of the week. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the no fuss, comfortable atmosphere of the cabin and the opportunity to unwind. We plan on making another trip to Peace in the Forest cabin soon.

This wonderful little cabin is private, peaceful and quiet except for some falling acorns on the roof. I love the wood stove and the kitchen had everything I needed. It was my second year staying here and the anticipation is as wonderful as the stay! The drive is very long, but, that just adds to the privacy and peace. The hosts are wonderful and friendly and go out of their way to help with any needs you have. It books up fast so make sure you book enough days on the 1st booking because adding on days to extend your stay may not be possible later. I so enjoy this wonderful little gem of a place!! I hope to return next year!!! One of the highlights for me is trail riding at the cliffs of Keowee.

Great place! Loved the hiking trail near by and the dog absolutely loved it as well! I could see 4wd being important if it rains though.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! Hope you can come back. I used to drive a Prius, low to the ground, and we didn’t have any issues at the cabin or elsewhere. We hike the trails on the cabin side including the cabin driveway sometimes, so periodically we add gravel in certain spots. I’ll take a look today to see what is needed. Thanks!

This was our fourth visit. We keep coming back because the peace and quiet and nature is unbeatable. My 20 year old daughter came for the first time for her spring break and she had so much fun! Great hosts!
