We enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet and peaceful. The cabin was cozy, with a rustic mountain cabin vibe. We used and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and the charcoal grill. Kitchen area was very small but functional. The only real issue we had was there were a lot of ants in the bathroom.

Generally, if there is an issue the host can remedy then the guest contacts the host to come help. We’ve had a lot of heavy rain and that’s probably what caused the ants to come in, if they are in the bathroom then they aren’t looking for food, are they? So it’s a rain issue. Contacting us to treat the outside and under the bathroom area would have been the way to go. Instead we find out in a review 10 days later when it could have been taken care of immediately. Ants can be dealt with. The size of the CABIN is in the description. If you’re looking for a full size kitchen in a cabin that’s 16x24 you’re probably not going to find it. A photo of the kitchen is in the gallery to be sized up by any possible guests. Please, next time at any guest house, contact the host for issues that can be dealt with right away. It’s what we do

Access to all the movies we needed for a rainy week. AC was perfect. Kitchen has a 4-burner stove. Rain in South Carolina brings out the black ants that live in the region but the host came and sprayed around the outside of the house. This property is a perfect get away for any couple who wants to relax in the quiet of the woods. The host was readily available to make our stay positive.

Overall a very pleasant stay. I was on business and would have liked a bit more lighting and table/counter space in order to do some work in the evenings. Also, the kitchen space was quite limited for preparing meals and the dorm room style refrigerator had minimal freezer space. Having AC was very much appreciated, and I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location.

My boyfriend introduced me to this area, it was not my first time here but I saw it through new eyes when I first visited his vacation rental with a friend and was introduced to him. He was my inspiration to find stay in this little paradise, to see the beauty every day and not to be held in the bustle of the city. #citygirlgonecountry! We built this guest cabin and my cabin home in these woods (with my boyfriend and a friend who is a builder) as a place to be in nature for myself and as a lovely place to share with vacation guests coming to this area.

I looked at many properties before deciding on this particular one. Nothing else offered the kind of location that this property does. It's fantastic and was the best buy of my life.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

This hand crafted cabins, built by myself, my boyfriend and a builder friend are unique and cozy. I tried to think of how things would work so people could move about the cabin comfortably and would have anything they needed to cook with and relax.
The small porch is where you will spend relaxing time watching the birds and listening to all things in nature surrounding. You can hear the world beyond every once in a while and that makes this cozy place all the more special.
