We had the best time, super pet friendly, very tranquil, lots of walking very close by, cottage was absolutely lovely and had superb views. LOVED the sheep neighbours Can’t wait to come back

We had a great time at the cottage! Jenny and Alastair were communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. The setting was such a peaceful home base for exploring Devon, complete with an adorable sheep flock for neighbors. We would recommend!

Lovely rural location with views across the countryside. The cottage is comfortable, furnished simply with everything we needed and communication with Jenny and Alastair was excellent. The bathrooms were looking a little tired but there was plenty of hot water and a powerful shower.A great place for a relaxing getaway

Such a lovely cottage with beautiful views of the valley and a lovely garden that enjoys sunshine most of the day. A real slice of heaven. The cottage is wonderful and you'll feel relaxed and recharged after you've stayed here for a few days. Welcoming hosts and a stunning location. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and cozy. We felt very welcomed. There is lot of information provided what you can do during your stay.

Short break at Shepherd's Cottage

We spent a lovely few days at the cottage. It is set in a beautiful location and was perfect for an 'away from it all' break.It was warm and homely and had everything you need for a very comfortable stay.We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Peaceful, scenic and cosy

The property was in a quiet, peaceful and idyllic location for a relaxing and cosy stay. It was well equipped and well located for visiting the surrounding area. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. I would definitely consider staying there again.

Remote Devon Cottage

Very lovely, quaint and cosy cotrage. Lovely quiet location. Amazing views. Great for a “get away from the rat race” break. Highly recommended.

Perfect escapism!

Shepherd's Cottage is in the most idyllic setting. It was our 3rd visit and we had such a lovely, relaxing and peaceful holiday. The cottage is beautifully kept, and there are plenty of places to visit nearby - or, if you prefer, you can just soak up the peace and quiet in the garden.

Perfect away from it all break..

A lovely stay at Shepherd’s Cottage. It was very peaceful and homely and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Ollie the dog enjoyed sheep watching, the surroundings were beautiful and beaches not too far for days out. We had lovely relaxing evenings admiring the sun going down over the hills. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Best place to be

First class We had a lovely time staying here. Dogs made very well. We had a busy time visiting friends staying somewhere else so was not the most restful stay. Going back again soon for a more relaxing stay a real gem a wonderful setting so peaceful.

Idyllic country retreat - very very quiet

We had a lovely relaxing week here with our dogs and kitten! You have everything you need in the cottage and it is central to everywhere for days out. Al and Jen are on hand for any advice or information regarding the local area.
