Our beautiful apartment has just had a very modern make over. (Bedroom 1) with double bed, Bed Side Cabinet, reading lights ,1 door wardrobe, mirror, hair dryer and travel cot. (Bedroom 2) with twin beds, bedside cabinets and reading lights. (Bathroom) tiled with electric shower, toilet and hand basin. (Kitchen) Modern and fully equipped with dishwasher, oven with grill and ceramic hob, microwave, Toaster, Kettle, coffee machine, washing machine, fridge/freezer and High Chair. (Dining room) white gloss 6 seater table with 6 chairs. (Decking Area from Kitchen) With Picnic Bench. (Lounge) with two sofas one with a bed, TV, DVD Player , Patio doors leading on to the balcony and 2 chairs and a small table. (Upstairs toilet). Towels and linen are provided, please bring beach towels, property cleaned and linen changed weekly. you also have free Wifi.
If you arrive before 6pm we meet and take you and your luggage over the sandy beach to your apartment, If you arrive after 6pm we leave the key in a key safe out side the apartment.



Sandunes apartments have been graded 4 star by visitEngland. Situated on the sandy beach of Camber, from your first floor windows you can look across the bay of Rye and see the cliffs of Fairlight or some of many fishing boats leaving or returning to Rye harbour.

Exactly what we needed. An apartment right on the beach for a weekend break of sandcastles and dog walks with two small children. It's modern and clean and fits a family of four well. The staff at the cafe/bar are welcoming and kind. We will definitely go back again.

Wonderful location

The house is amazing and situated so close to the beach, it is fully equipped (except a tea towel) and our stay was so relaxing. Will definately be returning.

What a wonderful time we have just had at Sandunes 2. The property had everything you will need to have a comfortable stay. The location is superb! The welcome basket is a delightful extra. We cannot wait to stay again soon.

Had a brilliant long weekend at Sandunes 2, lovely flat direct on the beach! Very clean and had everything we needed. Communication with Emma was great and thanks so much for sorting the parking permit! Would definitely come again!

Fabulous

Lovely, modern, warm, nice decor, comfortable apartment. Had everything you could want. Fabulous location right on the gorgeous sandy beach. Would certainly recommend and we will return asap. Really good cafe underneath. Great food and very friendly welcoming atmosphere.

An Annual Treat

Each year we book a long weekend in early July to celebrate our anniversary. Weather the weather is good or bad the location is magical. The apartment is perfect, to be on the beach is such a treat, the staff are lovely, everything you need has been thought of. I would recommend for anyone wanting a moment away from the real world!

Might be OK for some people but wasn't for us. A couple with a 4 year old. Hoping for a relaxing stay on the beach.Lovely location. Our son enjoyed early mornings on the beach.But noise insulation is non-existent. Right below is the KitKat beach bar, which despite Google claiming is open until 5pm is not. For the Friday/Saturday of our stay had a DJ/band respectively until approx 10pm (and then people who have drunk there making noise afterwards). The music was insansely loud . We only thought to message Emma querying it all (as not mentioned on the listing) at about 9/10pm, and she replied fairly quickly and asked them to turn it down. But even when turned down, it wasn't great with an open window. She was vague about when the band would be stopping on the Saturday but did say "not late". When I messaged at about 3pm the Saturday asking when they would be stopping, I got no reply. The band stopped at about 845 but some music continued, while people had a go at bashing the drums (lots of beers). I had to go downstairs myself at 10pm to ask when it would be shutting down, and they then switched the music off. Talking/singing continued until 11pm.Clean-ish, appreciate it's difficult being on the beach. Plenty of sand inside.Bit of a slog across soft sand each time to the parking. The permit was useful though.So, yeh, some people might see the bar as a feature. We did not. Would have gone home but had guests in our own home. Probably great on non-event days.

Wunderschön gelegenes Ferienhaus, direkt am Strand von Camber. Bar und Imbiss befinden sich direkt im Haus, ideal für einen Snack zwischendurch oder ein kühles Getränk am Abend. Das hat allerdings auch eine Kehrseite. Die Musik aus der Bar ist in der Wohnung deutlich zu hören und läuft teilweise über viele Stunden. Gerade am Wochenende kann es abends auch später werden. Wer absolute Ruhe sucht, sollte das wissen.Camber selbst hat offenbar schon etwas bessere Zeiten gesehen. Der Ort wirkt stellenweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen und deutlich weniger mondän, als die Lage am wirklich schönen Strand vielleicht vermuten lässt. Das Publikum ist bunt gemischt und die Atmosphäre eher unkompliziert und bodenständig als gepflegt oder exklusiv. Uns mit unseren lauten Kids hat das gar nicht gestört. Wer allerdings ein klassisches, gediegenes englisches Seebad erwartet, könnte von Camber vielleicht etwas überrascht sein.Der Strand ist dafür wirklich toll, gerade für Kinder. Das Wasser fällt sehr flach ab, dazu kommen Tidepools, Sandbänke und viel Platz. Auch die Umgebung ist ausgesprochen reizvoll. Rye ist großartig, unglaublich atmosphärisch und wirklich hübsch. Dover Castle ist gut erreichbar und Canterbury liegt nur etwa 45 Minuten entfernt. Es gibt also sehr viel zu sehen und zu erleben.Als Ausgangspunkt für die Region ist Camber Beach deshalb nahezu perfekt. Der Ort selbst ist vielleicht nicht das Schmuckstück der Reise, Host und die Lage machen das aber mehr als wett.

Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen! Ein ganz besonders schönes Appartement für einen Urlaub direkt am Strand.Das einzige was ich mir gewünscht hätte,wären Haarhandtücher. Die gab es nicht. Aber dafür normal große Duschhandtücher. Sicherlich hätte man welche bekommen,denn die Gastherren warn sehr freundlich und antworteten schnell.Am Samstag gab es Livemusik im KitKat,war okay. Ab 19 Uhr war es still.Am Sonntag ist viel ums Haus los (viele Badegäste). Aber man hat im Appartement seine Ruhe.Besonders positiv ist die Dauerparkkarte für den nahegelegenen Parkplatz. Sonst gehen gleich mal 30 pro Tag fürs Ticket weg. Dafür vielen Dank.

Schöne Wohnung in toller Lage

Tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Absolute Ruhe morgens und abends. Unter der Woche auch tagsüber relativ wenig los (Mitte August). Die Wohnung an sich ist recht gemütlich und ordentlich Könnte speziell in der Küche etwas sauberer sein. Für 4 Erwachsene ist die Wohnung perfekt

Great getaway

Wonderful apartment right on the beach. Fall asleep to the sound of waves. Easy access to local restaurants and bus service to Rye. Loved It!

Myself and my wife own and run the well know Kit Kat cafe at Camber Sands. In 2007 we decided to create holiday apartments above our cafe. After planning and construction the apartments are now up and running.
We have lived and worked in the tourism industry for more than 25 years and always look forward to greeting new and old friends.
