Newly renovated unit in meticulously kept small complex. This apartment offers a full kitchen, cable tv, wifi, washer/dryer, keyless coded entry and dedicated off street parking. Minutes from the lakefront, restaurants, seafood markets and Marina. Relaxing outside patio and garden space to rest after tours through the city. Property is a 15 minute drive to/from the airport, downtown and most metro area attractions.

Amazing!

This property really made us feel like home. The place was very clean and up to date. The bed was super comfy and in a great location. Would definitely come back here again. The owner was very nice and accommodating. I really couldn’t say enough good things about this property. We felt safe here!

The owner/ manager and family we're outstanding and very helpful with all our questions. Loved the gardens and enclosed yard. The gazebo gave us a place to visit with other renters and relax and enjoy the sun. Close to downtown and in a very safe neighborhood.

Fantastic apartment!!

We were very pleased with all that this apartment had to offer .. very clean, nicely decorated and well equipped, comfortable bed and plenty of space for my husband and I. Brian, the owner, was also a very friendly and helpful host .. he gave us some great recommendations for restaurants in the area that we would never have come across if he hadn’t suggested them to us. There were many places within walking distance as well .. stores, seafood markets, etc. The grounds are also very pretty, well maintained and private. We didn’t rent a car for this trip .. Uber to the French Quarter was approx. $15 - $18 . We would absolutely stay here again when visiting New Orleans. Thanks Brian for everything!

Great Stay

My husband and I stayed here during our trip to New Orleans in March. We just loved it. Very well kept apartment. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. The lake is just blocks away. Easy access to everything. Will definitely stay here again. Brian, the owner was great.

More than we could hope for

Ideal location and used as a base both for Mardi Gras celebrations, parades and all the sight seeing available in NOLA. Easy access to I-10 for day trips. The owner Brian was the best. Both as a resource on NOLA's offerings and as a host. Totally exceeded our expectations here. The gardens in the property allowed us to enjoy out doors during quiet times. The unit was not only new but very roomy and comfortable and very clean. Thanks for a great stay Brian.

Clean and comfortable Metairie apartment

My husband and I enjoyed staying in this apartment for our visit to New Orleans (perfect size for 2 adults). We were looking for a quiet place that was outside the French Quarter and convenient to various outdoor activities. We enjoyed walking on the nearby greenway along Lake Ponchatrain and visiting City Park. The French Quarter and the Garden District were both a 15 minute drive. We also found many good local restaurants in Metairie. The off-street parking was quite convenient. The apartment itself was recently updated, clean and comfortable. The queen bed was very comfortable. The clothes washer and dryer were a nice extra amenity. We also appreciated the ready to use internet and cable TV with DVR.

A Great Experience All Around

We can't say enough about the great experience we had in staying in Brian's apartment by the lake. He was so accommodating! We had originally booked his other apartment and decided to extend our stay and he arranged for us to switch to this apartment which was newly renovated. Brian is a great communicator and gets right back to you if you have questions or concerns...he couldn't be nicer or more professional. I really appreciate everything he did for us! When we got to the property to check in, he was there and we even got to meet his mom who was there admiring his renovations -- we really enjoyed talking with her. The apartment was beautiful and all the little touches in all the rooms were amazing (live orchids and plants, a bathroom fully stocked with everything you would need -- shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, facial wipes, hand soap -- and all very high quality)! The artwork on the walls and all the kitchen utensils and plates/glasses barware are very nice. A washer and dryer (and detergent!) was a pleasant surprise and a very nice TV including premium channels. I could go on and on...the bed was super comfortable with really nice bedding. Also, because the place was brand new, some of things like the stove had not been used. When we went to use it, it had not been fully hooked up. We contacted Brian (who lives in the building) and he worked diligently to find a serviceperson to hook it up for us, keeping us informed at every step. The outside of Brian's building has a beautiful outdoor space that is so relaxing to sit and have a cold drink or cup of coffee. It was fun to meet Brian's adorable children and his wife and also watch him play ball with his son. Lastly, the location of the apartment is great as you can leave your car in the apartment parking area and Uber/Lyft most anywhere in the city without any hassle of parking. The lakefront area is also fun to explore with wonderful seafood restaurants within a stone's throw and access to the running/biking path on the levee. We stayed at Brian's apartment for a total of 11 nights and it was really nice to come back to after a long day at Jazz Fest. This apartment is wonderful and so is Brian -- I highly recommend it and we won't hesitate to stay there again -- thank you, Brian!
