The check in process was fine but the actual apartment was very difficult to find in the building as it seems to not be a legit apartment, instead a tiny room made into an apartment. At first glance it seemed clean but when I got in the bed, it smelled strongly of sweat and mildew and had hairs all over the pillows. I have travelled around Europe and understand that bathrooms are smaller but the "shower" was barely big enough for me to stand in it and I couldn't wash my hair or shave my legs due to the size. There was also mold all around the bottom of the shower that smelled badly after I used it. I ended up leaving 2 days early because it was that uncomfortable for me, including the actual bed you could feel the springs and the pillows were so thin.

A Centrally-Located Flat Made for One

This rental is a tiny flat made for one. It's ideal for a single human seeking a centrally-located London space to sleep and shower. I would do this place again. On Christmas Day, when all the public transport options were not operating, I had an enjoyable 50-minute London walk to Chinatown. I liked the location.

It’s overall a decent place to stay, it could use a couple upgrades though. The pillows are so thin they are almost nonexistent I feel there should be a doorknob on the outside to make locking the unit easier The “growling” sound that happens when you run any bathroom appliance is a little annoying.

The check in proccess was horrible. We couldn't check in until 3 pm although you said you would advise of a luggage drop off spot no one was given. Although were we picked up the keys the store had luggage storage. The room was horribly small no extra outlets to plug up electronics. Then I texted about adding a 3rd person to the room and never recieved a response. Lastly the cutoff to cancel the room was not reasonable considering the room only accomodated 2 people and we needed a place for 3.

Dirty and Musty

This property appeared as though it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was a layer of dust over every surface and a heavy buildup of dirt and grime on the walls and especially the baseboards/ mouldings, as well as the bed linens. There was also an incredibly strong odour, which began to cause a headache and even nausea. I wouldn’t recommend anyone book this property, as they’ll be better off paying slightly more for a budget hotel in the same neighbourhood, which will actually be clean and offer more amenities.

A cramped place to sleep

Overall, yes, you can sleep here. The linens and floors were clean. Unfortunately, the shower is just simply too small, the toilet is - how do I put this - not for men. The water sounds like it's being summoned from another dimension. There's some loud growling device that would kick in every time I ran the sink, shower or flushed the toilet. Toilet didn't always flush completely. Sink appears unable to drain fast enough. The biggest concern for me is the mold in the shower. That can't be allowed to happen. I understand that this place is set up to be economical. But it cuts too many corners to come out unscathed. If it was just a bit bigger in all respects (not by much!!), and the issues above addressed, it would actually be amazing.

The worst VRBO experience I’ve ever had — avoid this listing at all costs.

This was hands down the most frustrating and poorly handled rental I’ve ever booked. The key pickup process was a nightmare: instead of meeting the host or collecting on-site, I had to travel to a completely separate third-party location to retrieve a confusing set of six keys and a key fob—with zero explanation of what any of them were for or how to access the property.When I finally arrived, none of the keys granted access to the actual building. I ended up having to sneak in behind a resident, which felt uncomfortable and unsafe. Once inside, only one key was required for the apartment door.The apartment itself was sweltering hot, with no working ventilation, and somehow hotter than both the hallway and the temperature outside. The kitchen sink had an unsecured board, clearly not properly installed. Worst of all, the shower was either ice cold or scalding hot—with no way to control the temperature. Completely unusable.I contacted the host immediately but received no real help, only vague and unhelpful messages (very responsive though), even as I tried to resolve the issue late into the night. Eventually, around midnight, with still no access instructions or practical support from the host, I had no choice but to book a hotel out of pocket. I will say they at least refunded me my money the next morning which is why I left 2 stars and not 1.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits sur les 7 prévues dans cet hébergement, après avoir convenu d’un remboursement avec l’organisme en envoyant les preuves de l’état de la location. Ménage inexistant, appartement humide (ancien local), poussière, cheveux, poils et moisissures dans la douche. Draps demandes à être changés 2 fois car très sales (traces d’insectes, cheveux et poils), sans oublier un bruit persistant dès que l’on utilise l’eau. A notre arrivée le frigo ne fonctionnait pas, l’organisme a dû nous en faire livrer un que nous avons installer nous meme. Louer une chambre dans un quartier branché n’exclût pas de l’entretenir.

L’endroit parfait pour un confinement à Londres

Petite maison spacieuse, claire, bien équipée avec une petite cour et de la verdure dans un joli quartier calme, non loin de la gare Eurostar. Nous ne pouvions rêver mieux pour notre quarantaine obligatoire !

Meet and greet for accommodation was easy to coordinate and Ben was profession, courteous, and on time!!! Accommodation was clean and beyond my expectation. I would high recommend for a single/couple travelling to London. Thank you!
