Great location! We were only there to sleep as we have friends that have a house on the canal. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean! Enjoyed finding the alligator behind the condo each morning!

Beautiful view

We absolutely loved Romar Lake. Orange Beach area is amazing. Upon check in we did a quick tour of the rooms in 204B. Unpacked then did a quick grocery run. The refrigerator had never been cleaned. The carpet in the bedrooms was not swept and had so many stains. The carpet is pretty discusting. Could use an update overall but that didn’t really concern us. With a little tlc it would be a better stay for sure. Absolutely love the view out back. Saw so much wildlife. Alligator, 1 doe and 2 bucks, white egret, heron, osprey and eagles.

Family vacay

Great property! Clean, roomy and all around great for our family. It was a community across from the beach. It was near a lot of restaurants attractions and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing

Location is very nice. The ceiling vents were covered in black moldy looking debris and weren’t cleaned until 4 days into my stay. The kitchen was disappointing since the dishwasher was broken and the stove top tray’s don’t fit causing the burners to be unlevel and difficult to use. The kitchen water faucet pressure is very low so that washing dishes was made difficult. The toaster oven didn’t work. Since I’m on a special diet and seldom eat out it would have been nice to have had a working kitchen. It took a couple of days to get a response from management and they didn’t fix anything. Maintenance brought a replacement dishwasher the afternoon of my last day.

Convenient location and adequate

This condo is a comfortable size for a group of 4. Everything works, but I would say that is showing it’s age with floors and carpets looking pretty worn.

Orange beach first timers

There were concerns when we arrived, but we messaged the person listed on the reservation and concerns we addressed either the same day or Monday when businesses opened. (We arrived Sat night.) Only issue we chose not to wait on was carpet cleaning because we didnt have time to wait for that. Hopefully carpets are cleaned for next tenant. We were given new air mattress, pillows, towels, blankets,and hangers. Sliding door handle was repaired and main door locks were charged due to the keys not working consistently. All that was taken care of quicky. Location is good and access to beach was easy.

Last minute beach trip

We enjoyed our stay at Romar Lakes w/such a beautiful view from our balcony. The beach was just a short walk away w/pool waiting before calling it a day. The location was convenient to everything. Would love staying here again!

Great for what we needed

This property was great for what we needed. I would say that the kitchen and what was stocked in the kitchen could be updated a little bit but our basic needs were met. The grounds of the condo were very nice in the view was very relaxing out from the back patio.

Overall ok….

The location and cleanliness of the property was great. We loved the accessibility to the beach and the kids enjoyed the pool. We spent a lot of time on the back patio, watching the turtles and the alligator. The kitchen lacks the supplies for a family to fix a meal, and the stove had one working burner. The washer was great, but the dryer does not dry and the drum eats clothes. We lost five articles of clothing that were destroyed by the dryer. I contacted the owner, response time was ok. She did offer for us to use another unit’s dryer, but the offer was only for that day and we were gone all day for baseball. No other options were available and I never heard back fro the owner once I said that wouldn’t work out. She did say one has been ordered, but I noticed previous reviews had the same complaint.

We liked the location and property'

We enjoyed staying here. The location was perfect for us and we loved the back porch, which was peaceful and private and we had fun watching the turtles and gators. The only negatives Would be that the overhead lights wouldn’t work for us in either bedroom, one of the burners on the stove didn’t work, and the dryer destroyed 3 pieces of clothing because there is a gap between the drum and clothes got caught in it. I was Pretty unhappy about that. Checking in was easy. Once we had an issue with the door lock and the owners were quick to respond to us.

Great location, awful upkeep!

Perfect location to where we needed to be, but the inside of the condo was rundown and carpet looked like it had been there for 10 years (gross to even walk on). If this place was renovated it would of been well worth it. Unfortunately, i was disappointed.

Needs updating

Appliances all need updating, carpet should be removed. They changed out the front door during our stay and luckily we were leaving and seen the worker entering our condo and were able to stop them and see what was going on (no notice given!). The master tub does not drain & the toilet kept stopping up. The icemaker had black stuff coming out with the ice; the same black stuff was located under kitchen sink (unsure what that was all about).
