Enjoyed our stay at this place. Nice view, and very cozy. A bit difficult to get to because of home construction on the road, but lister can't help that.

We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and in a great location. The host was wonderful and answered all of our questions immediately, We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning

It was a great weekend. Everything was clean and neat when we moved in. I evaluate a place by the kind of towels and bedding they offer and I was very pleased. The only thing I would caution about is all the steps. The host and hostess were easy to communicate with and helpful. We had our service dog with us. The steps are tough with a dog. We had a great view of the lake. I do not have anything negative to say. Great time, great place.

Delightful stay. Peaceful and very comfortable. Our dog enjoyed her stay as well. Lots of outdoor areas for her to explore.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and are glad you enjoyed our home over Thanksgiving. We were glad to accommodate your requested early check-in, late checkout, and provide the crockpot you asked for. During your stay, lake levels were temporarily lower due to ongoing recovery efforts at the lake following storm impacts, which can affect water levels and views at times. This is why we referenced the lake recovery in our description, changed our rates to reflect the temporary situation, and greatly appreciate the understanding of the guests who choose to stay with us. We appreciate your stay and wish you well in your future travels.

Host was very quick to respond to any questions. The home was very clean and had most of anything that you would need in bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, etc. View of lake was great, upstairs and on second level! Swimming area was so nice as it also had a covered area to sit while others would swim. If you are a senior just beware if the many steps that you must take to get in the home, also between levels and down to lake. If you can navigate steps, it is a great place to stay!

What a beautiful spot

We so enjoyed our stay! The view itself is just stunning. We loved the air hockey table! The home had it all. We enjoyed the kayaks as well.

Our family enjoyed the lake house. The accommodations were wonderful. It’s right on the lake and the views were beautiful! Lovely place to celebrate our Dad’s 80th birthday.

Amazing place!

The view is one of the best in the area! Super fun for kids to go out and around the house to explore on downtime Probaly the cleanest place I’ve been to The driveway is a bit steep but once you do it once it’s not a big deal Also the first time we went down the drive was night time and we are from Florida so not used to slopes Most cozy and charming place !

Thrilled to hear that you had such a great stay. We strive for an impeccably clean house and the view really is something to behold. While our driveway/parking area is directly off of our road and is completely flat, the roads around our mountain lake can seem steeper at first, especially if you are coming from flat land. Come back and see us any time!

Favorite house

We’ve stayed around Lake Lure for almost a decade and this is our favorite house. We love everything about it especially the beautiful boathouse deck. Planning to return in the fall.

Great Get-away

If you’re looking for a quiet place on the lake this place is perfect. The cove was perfect for swimming, floating, and using the kayaks/paddle boards. The outdoor spaces invited you to lounge and gather. Home was clean and comfortable having all of the household amenities one could need. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful stay!

This is a great property on a quiet cove on Lake Lure. So peaceful! The deck spaces were so expansive. Indoors, the place was clean and roomy- great views in the living room & dining room. We had good communication with Marissa and happy we could stay after the Helene hit the area in the fall. We wish the community the best as it rebuilds Chimney Rock.

Beautiful Location

We had a great vacation with our youngest two boys. The house was perfect for our family. Beds were comfortable, nice linens. The bunk beds being close to the master bedroom was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. The outdoor space was everything we needed and the covered porch was very relaxing. We loved the property and would visit again.
