The property exceeded our expectations. It was roomy, clean, and had homey touches. The property owner had staples available (books, glasses for reading, towels, dishes, soap/shampoo, and all the outdoor fun essentials you would want at the lake. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Our experience was nothing short of superb. We had 10 family members and our dog and loved everything about our stay. The kids had an awesome time fishing on the dock and must have caught well over 50 small fish that were returned to the lake. Our son launched his boat at the marina that was about 1 minute away and we attempted to catch some muskies and checked out the entire lake.The kids enjoyed the rides at Midway Park and hiking at Panama Flats. We all enjoyed our s’mores at the lakeside fire pit. The house is very well stocked with about everything you can imagine. Țhe Country Store in the village of Asheville is a must visit. It was a family vacation that we will cherish forever.

Location was perfect as was the size of the house. Inside house was clean outside needed some tlc. Grass was not cut. Mattress in master needs to be replaced. Door handle was broken. Walkway in front of dock was broken and dangerous. We had a great time.

I have since addressed this with my landscapers. We have had ongoing issues with the Anderson door lock and have replaced 3x. Still looking into options easier for renters. Walkway to dock has been fixed. Unfortunately, being lakeside has its challenges when the undertow from big storms pull foundation from underneath. We will make more effort to keep up with backfill of walkway Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We are looking into replacing the master bedroom mattress. The years have taken it toll. I appreciate all of your feedback and would love to have you consider our location for the future. This year we also replace all HVAC and water filtration systems.

This is a wonderful vacation property on Chautauqua Lake. The main living areas are spacious with high ceilings, windows and glass doors that open onto an enormous deck facing the lake. The location is reasonably private located on a narrow lane with lake access via a private dock and enough lawn area for kids to play.We visited in early October - just off season - for a reunion of immediate family (3 generations). The house easily accommodated 6 adults and 3 children. Lots of room for grown-up and kid activities and group meals. It was chilly when we arrived but the house warmed up and full two auto gas fireplaces were a real treat.We cooked every meal, including a turkey, and prepared a child’s birthday party. We found everything we needed and, when there were questions, we contacted our host, Lorraine, who was most helpful. Several options close by for shopping for groceries. Also several playgrounds and other attractions a short car trip away. A few hand towels were missing or misplaced when we arrived. One late arrival, who had a bad back, found his bed upstairs a little too soft and sagging - this can be easily remedied for next season. The distance runners and walkers were a little concerned when venturing out along the main highway as the immediate neighborhood is quite limited.All in all we had a great time that ended with a glow-sticks after dark dance party on the front lawn by the fire pit.

Beautiful lake front house with literally everything you would need on a trip. House was clean and spacious with a gorgeous view. Loved the private feel and would most definitely stay there again. Lorraine was very responsive and super friendly. Great getaway for my family!

This home was a fantastic place for a quiet getaway on the lake. The check-in process was extremely convenient and easy as well as the check out process. We brought too many supplies with us because the home including the kitchen had everything we needed right there. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place for 4 generations of family.

This home was so well equipped. Everything you could think of for a vacation was provided. Lots of gathering spaces and yet places for quiet conversations too. Will definitely be back.

Everything about the listing was accurate. Home was clean, extremely well stocked, and had plenty of toys well boom/games/amenities for kids of any age.Dock was perfect for my boat.

Our stay at the lake house was a wonderful time as always! The house is well equipped from kitchen supplies, to water toys, comfortable beds, clean linens.... The owner promptly replies for any questions or needs. We also had beautiful weather that was an added bonus Wonderful family memories were made!
