Turkish trip

The host was accommodating, we arrived late due to flight delays, car hire issues, directions etc.., Ali kept in contact and helped with directions and waited for us, he also extended our check out time, which was much appreciated as we had small children with us. The pool was lovely and very well maintained. The beds and linens were clean and tidy. Some of the kitchen appliances could do with some maintenance. A car is needed at the location.

Fantastic villa

We have just returned from two weeks at this villa. What a beautiful place! Totally immaculate with an amazing pool and view. Pool was cleaned every day. Location was excellent as it was only £2.50 in a taxi to Hisaronu and £3 to Ölüdeniz. So you were far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get there in 5 minutes. Levent Celik who I believe is the property manager/owner came round several times during our stay to make sure everything was ok. Ali was there to meet us when we arrived and showed us what we needed to know. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Lovely property and helpful host

Overall, the property itself was lovely - very modern and well presented. The garden and pool area were beautiful. A couple of maintenance teething troubles were sorted within hours by the host which was great. However, a few other observations:Vrbo shows the location of the property as being on the edge of Fethiye but the property is actually in the neighbouring town of Oludeniz. The town was quite run down and the choice of restaurants was not great. Early April isn’t a great time to go as a lot of local places hadn’t opened for the season yet but even if they had all been open they were not the sort of quality we wanted. A lot of it seemed to be catering to British tastes not authentic local cuisine. We don’t want a Sunday roast or full English when we go away! One highly recommended place in the town though is Pomegranate Gardens. Lovely family run restaurant who did an amazing Turkish breakfast. We had better luck in Fethiye itself with nice places to eat and wander in both the old town area and further up the coastline in the city. Also really enjoyed the cable car and mountain top restaurant. Finally the host charged an extra 100 to heat the pool and said it would heat to 28c however it never reached that temperature and we were barely able to use it as it was just too cold. There was a little rain which didn’t help but it seems the pool heating wasn’t able to compensate for that and couldn’t maintain a comfortable temperature.

Die Villa Sardunya liegt etwas oberhalb von Ovacik, Supermärkte, Restaurants und Hisarönü ist zu Fuß leicht zu erreichen. Fethiye und ölüdeniz sind mit dem Auto, oder Dolmuş erreichbar. Wir waren Mitte September für 2 Wochen in der Villa, Abends wurde es zum Schluss doch etwas frischDie Kommunikation mit Ali war immer sehr gut und schnell. Die Villa ist schön, vor allem der Pool. Einige Sachen müssten mal erneuert werden und die Küche ist spartanisch eingerichtet, zu wenig Messer, zu wenig Becher, keine Kaffeemaschine. Spüli, Gewürze usw.sind ebenfalls nicht vorhanden. Obwohl die Villa ein paar Defizite hat, würden wir jederzeit wiederkommen, da wir jetzt bestens darauf eingerichtet wären. Vielen Dank nochmal an Ali

Nice Location

Nice property to stay at in fethiye. The city was relatively close and the view of the mountain was gorgeous. Host accommodated for our change In Flight time and was very helpful.

Just Beautiful

We’ve had a lovely 2 weeks at the villa. It was exactly as described, Ali was always on hand to help and answer any questions we had. Some lovely views from the top balcony. Quite close to all hisaronu has to offer, the walk to the strip isn’t too bad as it’s all down hill but I’d recommend a taxi home unless you’re up for a work out! For 20tl it’s more than affordable. Pool was cleaned every morning and cleaners arrived once a week to clean the villa and change the bedding. All in all we have had a great couple of weeks. Thanks Ali 😊
