Fam Bam Vaca

This is the second time we have stayed with these hosts. We love the layout and that the unit is a ski in ski off location! We would love to stay again next year.

Very nice condo, right beside the slopes

Family really enjoyed the stay. Very cozy condo, right on the slopes. We got a lot of snow during our stay, kids loved watching it from deck. Road/parking were routinely maintained, we had no trouble going up or down the mtn during the snow.

Better than expected

Condo was perfect! Looks better than the photos. Was a lot bigger than we anticipated. Loved being able to ski in and ski out. Hosts were super helpful. The mountain had some water issues and the host notified us frequently with updates. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Fantastic Stay in Someplace

This was our first visit to Winterplace. The condo was just as described and perfect for a large family. We enjoyed the boardgames, space and ski in/out. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook daily. We would cook all our meals in the condo. The space was clean, well decorated and we loved it! Owners communication was fantasti ! We will be back and highly recommend!

The hosts were very communicative and the location is perfect for people who love to ski but the apartment is in a terrible condition. The sofas very so hard that we couldn’t sit in them, the beds were squeaking, there were no comforters but just a sheet to cover yourself while sleeping, the paint was peeling off in many areas, the TVs are old and not smart TVs, the commodes in the bathroom are too low and small. I can keep going.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay. We are working as we can afford to upgrade these older condos. It's also unfair to say we only provided a sheet. There is a top quilted cover but your right it isn't a thick comforter. We also have a couple extra blankets if you wanted more covers. We've found getting the comforters washed took too long and messed up the stuffing inside. Finally, we don't advertise smart tv's and the rural internet is not the best for too many devices. That's why we have cable to all TV's. Again, sorry you didn't enjoy your stay.

Said we could check in early but then didn't allow it once there, the condo heat is terrible we either was to hot or too cold. Batteries in the tv remotes were dead, I was expecting a more pleasant experience with the amount charged per night, way over priced

I'm sorry that we had a last minute booking before your stay and we had to clean before you could check in. But I did warn you when you contacted me a week before that we might have a booking come in that would change being able to check in early. We did let you leave your stuff and your dog, that you didn't pay for, stay in the condo while it was being cleaned. I tested all the remotes in early December and they were working at that time but we will be sure to recheck. Also, the heat is adjustable in each room, so you just needed to adjust it to your liking for the room. Finally, you are welcome to find better accommodations slope side for the price you paid.

Kitchen was incredible. Very well stocked and easy to cook for my family.

Highly recommend families of 6 adults and three kids 11 and under take advantage of using this condo. We loved it.

Great visit

We truly enjoyed our stay at Winterhaven. The condo was perfect for our needs. The ski in/out access was exactly what we were looking for. The condo is older but has everything you need for a great ski get away!

We loved our stay. It was great. My granddaughter wants to come back every weekend.

It was great. Enjoyed everything. Skiing snowboarding and tubing was enjoyed by all. The confo was just as described, perfect for our family.
