Lovely Spring getaway with friends

Dana was a wonderful host who made her property very welcoming for our group. She was a delight to work with and responded immediately with answers to all of our questions.

Best river house/location

Dana and Bruce were great! The property was as described, we absolutely loved the location and spent the entire time on the river. Water level was great and very quite which was fabulous!! We loved watching the birds the house had everything you would ever need!! We are already booked for another stay!

Our 4th stay in Hunt

As always, Dana is an excellent host! Our family has enjoyed her home for 4 summers and it's always wonderful to get away to such a beautiful and peaceful location. The house is comfortable and the river is spectacular, we stay down there ALL day and into the evening.. She does have THE BEST spot in the HIll Country! Thanks sooo much Dana!

City Escape

Too much good to put into words. Dana the owner has a fabulous place, so go there and experience it for yourself--you wont' be disappointed--except for the fact that it's not yours! Will definitely be back.

What an exceptional hostess! Dana is a terrific communicator with a warm and welcoming heart. Her very nice and comfortable rental property is located very near the prettiest part of the Guadalupe and offers the most peaceful, relaxing river frontage...and FUN swimming in its clear waters! Relax on the river

We were welcomed in the house by soothing music and fresh flowers. It immediately makes you take a deep relaxing breath. The property is lovely, with a charming house and cottage. The riverfront is stunningly beautiful. It has everything you need. Sat on the front porch and watched the fireflies in the evening. It doesn’t get much better.

Birthday Vacay!

I took my wife on a vacation to celebrate her turning 50. Dana (hostess extraordinare) went Above and beyond. From birthday cake to mimosas by the river! She nailed it. 5 stars for the property, 5 stars for the river (crystal clear), and 5 stars for the hostess, Dana! Thanks again Dana for everything. We will be seeing you again... soon!

The Brownings were FABULOUS renters! What a great connection. They left the place immaculate and so much shared appreciation for the beauty of Hunt. I hope to see them back soon and hopefully annually!!!

Never disappointed….

This was our 5th year in a row. Yep FIVE. There aren’t enough words to convey how much we love coming here. It’s just perfect! The home has everything needed and the riverfront is stunning. Dana is an exquisite hostess and we cannot wait for Year 6!!!!! We’ve made several great memories and looking forward to more. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic home, fantastic host and fantastic location on the Guadalupe River. This will not be our last visit. The host was beyond helpful and made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of in every way. We love the area and it is a great get-a-way any time of the year. The river area is hard to pull away from as it is private, serene, picturesque, and just a great place to hang out all afternoon. Thank you to a great host.

I hate to even spill this secret. This is a great place. One of the best equipped and well located places I have stayed. Very close to the river with a great swimming area including a small pier. Good fishing on a dammed up section that gets fairly deep in the middle. The houses are great. Well equipped with everything you need. There are tons of birds and animals around. We even saw a bobcat that came down looking around the cabin. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Paradise

The property is absolutely serene bliss. The house and cabin are spacious and stocked with everything we could have needed. We enjoyed the front porch and the river access the most. If you need a quiet place to relax and recharge, this is without a doubt the place to be. Dana was very accommodating for our last minute requests. We will definitely book this spot a few times a year.

Beautiful, relaxing property by the river

We had a wonderful time with friends. The Guadalupe river is just across the road from the house and was perfect for relaxing and enjoying some floating time on the water. During the hot afternoon, we enjoyed playing cards in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies to prepare meals. Dana was a gracious host!

Perfect Guadalupe retreat

This is the perfect Guadalupe retreat. Private waterfront access to a premier section of river with a deep swimming hole, cliffs, paddle boat, and dam / water park. The house, cabin and overall accommodations are clearly well loved and cared for, and the level of thoughtfulness to their guests are above and beyond. Unlike most rental properties, this place is fully stocked with lots of extra touches. Highly highly recommend!

Great Place to Relax!

We picked up our kids at camp and spent weekend here. The place is excellent, very comfortable & clean. Great private river access and a wonderful waterfront area. Very relaxing get away for the whole family. Highly recommend staying at this property. Owner is very nice and make sure that you have everything to make it comfortable.

Another lovely visit

This was my family’s second visit to Dana’s property and we brought along some friends this time. It is SO wonderful!! We all enjoyed the beautiful scenery and had a fantastic time swimming, floating, and paddle boating around all day. The house and cabin again had everything we needed for a great stay and they were both super cozy and clean. I can’t wait to come back again to this special place.

Everything you could hope for and more!

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful this rental is. The pictures and descriptions are 100% accurate. The location is fantastic, the river is peaceful and relaxing. Dana made sure every detail was covered. We did not want for anything. Communication was great. 100% recommend!

Great location, cozy house

Amazing location by the Guadalupe River (flowing by some very pretty cliffs). We enjoyed trips to several nearby state parks and reserves (all 45-60 minute drive), Kerrville, and Fredericksburg. Communication with the owner was easy and the house was clean, cozy, and welcoming.
