The house was fabulous. The kitchen was equipped with everything imaginable. It’s so peaceful to sit on the deck and look at the lake and the boats going by the weather was fabulous. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The house was exactly as advertised and was the perfect landing spot for a group of friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. Kitchen for hanging out and cooking, living room with a big comfortable couch, hot tub, fire pit and great view of the lake. Very scenic and close to everything!

This location was superb, nicely tucked away and still close to amenities and shopping areas. The office staff was quick to respond to queries and came to the property within a reasonable time to attend to a matter. The rooms were clean enough, there was enough bedding and space. The kitchen appliances and pots need to be updated through. We had enough cutlery and plates for our guests. Overall, 4.8/5 experience.

Quiet Getaway

We had a quiet and wonderful long weekend. Unfortunately the weather did not permit skiing...hopefully next year if we go earlier in the season. The house is comfortable and in a nice neighborhood for walks. We will definitely return.

Awesome place to stay. It comfortably held all 16 of our family members and a couple of pets. The biggest problem was that before we arrived someone should have blown the leaves off of the driveway. Because of that steep hill. It was difficult to know where the driveway actually was. Other than that, we had the perfect weekend and it is a great place to stay. Thank you.

Great family house

We loved the house but not fond of the location, it was 20 minutes from everything. I didn't like the steps to the dock, they were uneven and there were a ton of them.

Deep Creek Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at this excellent rental. The house was perfect for our party of nine and could have easily accommodated more. The house was clean, other than some stains on carpet on stairway and master bedroom. One concern were the stairs leading to the dock. A couple of stairs needed to be fixed and the bottom step was nonexistent. Those were the only complaints. We would certainly rent this beautiful home again.

We had a nice Spring Break here with four families and the house worked well for us overall. The main bedrooms were comfortable, the other bedrooms were fine for the kids to share, and the kitchen had what we needed — though the stove burners were really slow to heat up. The hot tub and fire pit were a hit with the kids, and the lake views were beautiful.A few things did put a bit of a damper on the stay, though. The dock (or lack thereof) was disappointing. It’s included throughout the listing photos, and fishing was honestly one of the reasons we booked this place. We didn’t find out until after check-in that the dock wouldn’t be installed until Memorial Day weekend. It was one of the things our kids had really been looking forward to. Clearly stating that upfront in the listing would be helpful so future guests aren’t caught off guard like we were. The deck also needs some attention. A few boards were splintery and uneven, some of the light caps were missing, and the patio doors were a bit tricky to lock.Overall, we enjoyed our time here and the property has a lot going for it. A little more transparency in the listing and some basic upkeep would make a real difference.

Great, but beware of icy driveway

The house is gorgeous. It had everything we needed for a nice weekend getaway. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Perfectly situated right on the lake. We had a wonderful weekend overall. The only issue was leaving. The driveway is very long (maybe about 200-300 feet) and rather steep. We went on a weekend with heavy ice and getting out was an absolute nightmare. Even having vehicles with four wheel drive, we had to chip the ice away on the entire driveway with a metal shovel and then push all five of our vehicles up the driveway to get out. All told it took us about 4 hours to get out. Triple A would not come out to tow us as they said it would endanger their employees. The listing mentioned there was salt in the house which we searched high and low for but could not find. Again the house is wonderful and this issue aside I would have rated things excellent - but this is an issue that people should be aware of when renting in the winter, especially if you are not as fortunate to have individuals who are willing or able to push multiple vehicles up hill to get home.

Needs some TLC

I wanted to reach out to you to let you know that we were very unhappy with the condition of this property. We checked in on Saturday evening and then touched base with the office that Monday to let the office know about the issues. This house has so much potential and I’m sure was once beautiful but it has to be maintained. 1. The over all outside maintenance of the property is poor. Deck has splitting wood and nails sticking up, the deck rail posts are rotted in many areas, the steps to the dock dangerous and rotting on certain steps, one step was missing completely at the Botton to the dock, The fire pit and canoe were filled with water. It had not rained and seemed to be there awhile stagnet water. The pictures of the outside from the back is when the deck was new. It’s really false advertising. The maintenance man did come and address the worst of the steps for safely but more needs to be fixed. You also need a picture from the dock to the house so people renting know how steep it is. 2. The comforters need to be cleaned they have stains on them pics sent 3. The living room area was so dirty. There was broken glass and food underneath the couches, crumbs and dog hair all over the throw rugs and floors. The furniture is put on slides so it can be moved for cleaning. The house needs a good deep clean. The furniture in the bedrooms need to be moved as well to be cleaned. Dust and cobwebs and food behind the bedside tables when you go to plug in charges. Just gross and embarrassing having our guests see this. 4. The carpets on the steps going downstairs were down right filthy and stained. Didn’t even want to walk barefoot on them. They need to be professionally cleaned. ( pics to follow) We were embarrassed to have our friends see this. They did spot clean but the stains came right back to the surface after a few days. 5. They seriously need new pots and pans. The Teflon is all peeled off on most of the pots and pans. Not really safe to cook using those. 6. The one dishwasher had a note on it when we got there that it was broken. Thankfully there was two but still. The microwave front plate was coming off. We kept having to push it back on. 7. Mattresses are in need of replacement . 8. Toilet in the downstairs bedroom where the hot tub is loose no screws holding it to the floor and the soap dispenser was broken too. The owner of the property needs to be notified of these issues

Lovely home!

We had a wonderful time in this house. One nice feature is that each of the 3 levels has an activity/seating/gathering area plus two decks. It is large and open and had plenty of space to make our 3-generation group of 13 (adults and teen kids) happy. The kitchen has everything needed for food preparation. The house is lovely, however the pictures do not truly show how far up from the lake it sits. Many steps to the dock area that made it impossible for one of us to be able to get to the lake. We did have a great time in the house and would recommend it for groups sturdy/young enough to not be bothered by stairs.

Rainy Weather, Nice Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Twelve adults in our group had an enjoyable stay despite grey skies and drizzly conditions. The home was spacious and the kitchen was very well-equipped. We liked having 2 dishwashers. The hot tub was also very popular. Be careful of the long steep stairs down to the dock. Slippery when wet!

Our yearly family retreat for our children and grandchildren.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Taylor-Made provides our favorite vacations with their help and management. Thank you for your service. The microwave door became unlatched, and a new one was provided. The “bear doors” on garbage storage was damaged, and new, stronger ones were built. The owner has a beautiful home. I believe it needs a little tender care in carpet care and step repairs going down to the lake. Though the website write up says gym privileges are included in the rental packages, it was denied because owner membership was not current. The house was spacious, natural surroundings were beautiful. I wish a look from the lake to the houses would be included in every description. The steps were too steep for my husband; and entry into the lake was too much of drop off for younger grandchildren to enter on their own.
