Steve and Lana were wonderful hosts—very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was exactly as advertised and was perfect for our large family group. We had plenty of room to gather together while still having our own space. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Another great year for our family at Kollross’ Lodge is in the books. Lifelong memories of fishing, kayaking, telling stories around the fire and soaking up the camp’s comfy furnishings and beautiful views. Highly recommend. I also must add this is the cleanest VRBO on the planet. Clean as a whistle with crisp fresh linens on incredibly comfortable beds. You will definitely get the rest you deserve !!

The property was wonderful for our large family! Everyone was comfortable in their rooms, and there’s plenty of space to live. The backyard is beautiful and so enjoyable while we were there.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This house was everything plus more. Extremely accommodating for our family. The best part was two bedrooms with private bathrooms on the main floor and the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. We had the best weekend and will definitely book again

This house was exceptionally clean and well organized. The amenities were great: the kitchen was well appointed with plenty of good cookware, dishes and flatware. Appliances were nice and worked well. The property is lovely and well maintained and is as presented in all the ads. I’ve stayed in many VRBO houses and this was absolutely one of the best! Thank you

We were there for a wedding. The home is amazingly comfortable, spacious, and we loved the location. The views of the lake are so beautiful. The house itself is perfect for a family gathering, very well set up, great kitchen for cooking, ping pong and bikes gave us plenty of activities in between wedding events. Highly recommend this place !!

Wonderful spacious home. We had a family gathering for a 70th birthday. AllAges of our family (from baby to 70) had a wonderful time. We had lots of snow on Saturday which provided even more fun. We never left the house (except to go to the hot tub for some!). Such a cozy place to enjoy a very cold, snowy weekend!

Very private home on huge lot. Rooms were very spacious with plenty of room for both gathering together and private time. Lots of good restaurants nearby as well as in Madison and Greensboro. Owners were fantastic to work with and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was fantastic. Highly recommend!

This is my second time staying at this house. I really enjoyed it. It’s real spacious. The amenities were great. The host. Their self was just real nice and responded in a good time manner. I will be staying at this house again.

We are frequent travelers and this was by far the absolute best house we have ever stayed in. We were there for a high school golf tournament at Oconee country club.. the house had absolutely everything we could ever imagine needing. the kids bonded over the weekend by fishing, foosball, ping pong, kayaking, swimming, and relaxing in the hot tub.. we had 16 ppl and still had plenty of room. Every room was professionally decorated and was super clean.. The kiddos said the reason they are headed to the state championship was because of this house!! Steve, the host was extremely friendly and professional as if I’ve know him for years.. we plan on definitely returning..I would highly highly recommend staying here as you will not regret it. I would give it more than 5…

We moved to Georgia in 1986 from Wisconsin, which is where we learned the value of lake property. We promptly investigated the major lakes in GA and came to the conclusion that gorgeous, quiet Lake Oconee was the place we wanted to be. We bought our 1/2 acre in 1989. Being newlyweds, we couldn't afford to build anything on it right away, so we started small with building our dock and getting our boat. That way we could enjoy the lake. In 2001, with 2 young boys, we built the main level of the cottage and left the upper level unfinished. Steve put his handyman skills to work to finish out the upstairs over the years. In 2016-17 we finally built the garage, added a driveway, and improved the landscaping with the beautiful terraced patios you see now. We are so happy to share our piece of heaven!
