This is a beautiful villa with a wonderful view. The pool is a good size and the grounds are lovely. It was nice and remote in the mountains without being too hard to find on the map. Air con amd fans, Netflix on the TV, everthing you need in the kitchen. We could have easily stayed another week! Nearby Plaka is a wonderful village to enjoy lunch or dinner while Almyrida on the seafront is a short drive away with a great beach and loads of restaurants. The check in process was really smooth. Thank you to Frankie and Fiona for making this holiday so easy and for giving us a few extra hours in the villa on check out day!

Really high quality villa maybe let down a bit by a couple of avoidable things - which have been fixed to some extent, but maybe need more permanent solutions. The big ones were a front door lock which broke ( the bit on the doorframe) - fixed that day so great and thanks, but I think it might need a more permanent fix as that frame looks iffy, which caused the issue in the first place. Also the safe was not working, constant error beeps if you powered it up (someone had obviously taken batteries out) - again replaced very quickly, so great, but it's still situated in a place where it can't be secured - it needs to be screwed or bolted onto a permanent surface.We had problems with the TV (it only has Netflix, Youtube and Prime anyway) but it initially didn't work at all and took a guy who fixes TVs in the area a good 15 minutes to work out the (simple) solution ... just a bit of pre-checking these things before guests arrive would be great. There isn't a page in the book with TV instructions or wifi and safe codes, just little niggles like that would make it so much better. But things did get fixed to be fair.But it's high quality accommodation, good location, great views, very well kitted out. It was very good overall.Be aware of a few things - road there is narrow, bendy, steep in places and rough near the villa - but that's normal for villas I guess. You WILL hear Chania Airport / air base at times. There's a fair sea breeze if you are sitting on the top porch too.

Einfach perfekt

Sehr ruhig gelegen, ein phantastischer Ausblick, toller, großer Pool, ein geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Haus, bei der Ausstattung wurde an alles gedacht. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist recht holprig über einen felsigen Schotterweg - aber auch ohne Allrad schaffbar.

Perfect place if you’ve got a car.

This is just about the perfect holiday Villa. The upside-down design is inspired. (We turned our inner terrace house upside down to take advantage of the big front bedroom that caught to sun.). In Chrysi, it means you can take your early morning swim straight from your bedroom and your late swim just before bed, while the daytime living quarters open onto the huge balcony across the north front of the house, where you can eat your meals, write or read at the table while gazing at the magnificent view from the white mountains to the Village of Marathi and further east across the Aegean. We loved it. The bathrooms, though emitting the usual Hellenic smell, are comfortably sized and conveniently equipped, and the cooker, though it looks less than state of the art, cooks splendidly. It’s pretty fierce actually. The beds are comfy and the bedrooms have more than enough space to swing several cats, and enough storage space to store dozens more, if feline storage is your bag. I must give a special mention to Niki, who brought us a new kettle on the second day, and responded to our calls when we found there was hardly any water left in the tanks. The bowser arrived that afternoon.. She is efficiency itself.

Propriété au calme, en extérieur du village typique grec. Le seul bruit est celui des cigales.

Agréable séjour au calme

La villa est fraîche, les climatisations et ventilateurs très utiles. La vue est splendide. La piscine est vraiment grande et d’une profondeur constante de 1,50 m donc parfaite pour nager. La fin du Chemin d’accès de la villa est assez chaotique. Il faisait très calme quand nous étions là, personne à l’horizon sauf quelques travaux lointains. La villa Oliviers était vide pendant les 2 semaines donc aucun souci de voisinage. Sinon sa terrasse a une vue directe sur la villa Chrisi. Ce qui pourrait être amélioré c’est d’être averti pour le nettoyage mi-séjour ou même pour convenir de la fin du séjour. Le nettoyage est très rapide, et changement de serviettes uniquement en mi-séjour. Une belle villa assez isolée, nécessité d’avoir un véhicule et si possible haut sur roues.

Séjour en famille mémorable

Superbe séjour partagé en famille dans une villa en pierre typique de la région avec vue panoramique sur mer et montagne exceptionnelle. Emplacement privilégié propice au calme et à la baignade avec plages et tavernes accessibles en quelques minutes en voiture. Notre plus belle expérience après plusieurs voyages en crête.

Nous avons loué cette magnifique maison à l’emplacement idéal! Elle était parfaitement équipée et très propre. La communication avec la gérante était très bien ! Bref, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable!

Exceptional View, well equipped, comfortable villa

My husband and I enjoyed our stay, with one exception. The views are wonderful, the villa was the best equipped I have experienced in our long experience with villas in Greece for 40 years. The swimming pool is big enough to swim in and not like some villas, where in five strokes you are at the end of the pool. Our English neighbor in the house next to ours was welcoming and helpful. The grounds around the villa are beautifully zen-like arranged, giving a feeling of tranquility and beauty, as one looks out from the ground floor to the pool. The road to the villa is terrible, full of rocks and gullies. I was very afraid that the undercarriage of our rental car would be damaged as it clearly states that one must not drive on dirt roads such as this, and if you do, you will be responsible for the damage. Having such anxiety every time we had to drive on it, hurt our enjoyment of everything else being perfect. Strange that this was not mentioned in the advertising, so we could better choose a car that can handle such a road. If the road is fixed, we would like to come back.

maison conforme à l'annonce à part la TV si vous y aller avec la TV comme critère il faut l'oublier avant notre arrivée la TV était en panne et ne sera pas réparée par le propriétaire,3 fois sur 14 jours nous n'avions plus d'eau et internet tombé en panne pendant 4 jours la route pour la maison est un peu compliquée et pas de compensation pour tout ces désagréments par le propriétaire

Empfehlenswert mit kleinen Macken

Ein grandioser Ausblick und eine ruhige Lage ohne Durchgangsverkehr waren die Highlights. Ein durchgesessenes Sofa und eine Spülmaschiene, die beim öffnen und schliessen am Schrank entlangschrammten waren weniger schön. Die Waschmaschiene stand in einer Rumpelkammer und war quasi nicht benutzbar. Die Terassentüren können von aussen nur mühsam geschlossen werden,um Insekten fernzuhalten. Hier würde ein kleiner Knauf helfen. Der Reinigungsservice war sehr gut und freundlich.

Es hat an nichts gefehlt!

Wir, 2 Pärchen, würden sofort wiederkommen. Zwar ist es sehr außerhalb, aber Ruhe wollten wir ja schließlich. Die Umgebung und die Aussicht ist phantastisch.
