Loved the stay property is old but nice. The one thing that was confusing it showed a bathrooms as being tub and 2 showers. The second shower is outside not real handy in October for ten guests. We made due and enjoyed our stay

It was a beautiful spot plenty of room for 10 people, but they could’ve done a better job with the cleaning. There was hair in the tub. It needs to be updated new flooring in the bathroom upstairs because it smell like urine. And there is mold in the shower downstairs.

Our Family had the most amazing time. This property is incredible. The views from the sunrise to the sunset. You can walk from the deck to the Rocky beach. Its gorgeous!!! You can collect shells. My daughter-in-law actually found some awesome Seaglass it was beautiful. We love to watch the boats go by in the morning and at night. The house is very immaculate and very comfy cozy plenty of room. The beds very comphy, plenty of towels. Anything you need in the kitchen Maureen has, it’s fully equipped. We had a lot of fun. We had some family dinners , a lot of laughs, we played cards. Theres a train 5 minutes by car, it will take you to Boston to Salem etc. We turned it into an adventure. The area is soo beautiful, we went to the Hammond Castle it’s a must see. It was stunning!! You must try Lobster Land for dinner, it’s close by. We can’t wait to go back . It’s a wonderful home, you will feel at home . Amazing trip , Amazing Home and Amazing Host.. Thank you Fondly , Maria and Bill C.

Great house, nice views but not a sandy beach, and not walking distance to anything for teenagers. It’s buggy at night too on the back deck but a fan outside helps.

The view from this property was incredible, so relaxing. The house is very old and outdated, in need of some repairs and refresh, but it was enough to accommodate our group since we are close. It is definitely rustic, but had the essentials.

To experience what Cape Ann has to offer, you only need to sit on the back deck and watch the tide go in and out and the daily parade of boats.

Get Vacation house

I’ve stayed at this house before, it’s a simple beautiful property. The deck has always been a highlight of the stay. The Owner of the house was very accommodating, and answered any questions we had. Extremely kind and helpful and went over and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Great place to bring family and enjoy the view.

Perfect for a returning Gloucester native!

Great location that’s like an old beach house

We had a fantastic time here in what reminds me of an old school beach house, which is the best. Plenty of beds, lots of seats for meals, and a great location. Loved it!

Great stay for the week. Awesome views from the double decker deck. Very quiet area for relaxation away. The only slight inconvenience was the bathroom shower was in the lower level while only a tub bathroom on the same level as the bedrooms. The tub worked out great though for the grandkids. Will stay here again!

Relaxation with a view

Amazing location with the best view! Kids and adults both enjoyed the house! Swimming, fishing and searching for critters at low tide made for the best week!!

Family vacation

Great location, very clean and well stocked. Comfortable beds, lots of room. Rented kayaks that were delivered to the house. Great week, highly recommend.

Wonderful getaway

The house is over 100 years old, but, very comfortable and cozy. Natural wood work. Gorgeous views. Very relaxing. Our group is already looking forward to staying here again.

Perfect Family Getaway

Plenty of space for 8 adults and one toddler. The deck was a perfect place to relax and an excellent play space for our little one. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We also enjoyed swimming in the river.

We had a great time. The host was easy to communicate with. The only thing we ran into that caused an issue was that the house doesn't have A/C and it was very hot and humid the first few days of our stay. The house has plenty of fans, but we had a few nights going to bed with the house temp over 75 degrees. Overall, a neat place with a great view.

Beautiful views

This property has beautiful views of the Annisquam River and a lovely, large porch from which to view them from. Our granddaughter enjoyed very much going down to the docks and walking on the sandbars at low tide. Maureen responded promptly to our questions and was accommodating.

Great experience!

We loved our time here. The view from the deck can’t be beat. We walked out to the sandbars during low tide and rented paddle boards to use everyday right from the dock. It’s an older home and definitely feels like it, yet all important amenities are provided and work well. Host was very quick to respond to communications. We hope to stay again sometime!

Glad We Returned 2022

Like last year this large, vintage property was spotless, kitchen could not be better appointed in terms of dishes, silverware, cooking appliances, cleaning supplies, small appliances (toaster, k cup coffee maker, traditional coffee maker, and large modern appliances. Abundant towels, linens, pillows. And, of course, the fabulous river view and sunsets.

The property title tells it all

No need to hit the beaches, everything is in your backyard. We brought inflatable kayaks which enhanced our time in and on the water. Watching the daily parade of pleasure and commercial boats was fun. A great location which is minutes from the center of Glocester and a short drive to Rockport. Can not wait to go back next year, There is no A/C, but there are plenty of fans.
