CHRISTMAS IN JULY

When we first arrived, an hour early, the cleaning staff was still there, no problems, but when they left and we walked in there was a STRONG marijuana lingering odor. We chose 1 of the 2 kitchens to do the meal prep for all of us. We did finally find enough to work with, combining all the utensils and pans, etc from both kitchens combined but it still lacked. This is a house that is supposed to be set up for 30.. not the case. The cookware left a lot to be deisred as some of it was rusty and unusable and not appropriate sizes of skillets and pots for a large group. The outside area around the pool did not have the lounge chairs as in the photos. None of the outside areas were as pictured. There was a broken table but no chairs so eating outside wasn't an option.. The pool was nice as were the bedrooms. Although some of the showers and tubs still had hair in the drains and on the walls of the showers from previous renters, we did not feel it was cleaned properly. In one of the bedrooms there was a TV with a cord that did not reach an outlet. The bedrooms were very quiet, and others in the house that were still awake could not be heard. The location to the beach is wonderful, an easy 1 1/2 block walk. Overall it turned out to be a wonderful time, but there are some areas that need attention. The couch was past it's prime, window shades that are broken, LACK OF LIGHT BULBS throughout the entire house that need to be replaced, including microwave/over the stove lighting.

Need attention

I’m not sure if this property was just purchased or if it’s still for sale. I booked both houses for a week. We didn’t have internet or cable to watch tvs until Thursday. We had been there since Monday. The floors were also filthy in this house and the bed covers were not clean. We had to wash all of the covers before we could lay down they were stained. The property host did reply quickly but couldn’t get things resolved for a few days. The air conditioning does not cool the middle floor in either home.

Great Spring Break with Teens

We had a wonderful time spending Spring Break here. We rented both sides and had plenty of room to all be together. The location was great for the teens as it was right by a mini golf/go cart and a quick drive to Pier Park. There were also several restaurants in walking distance. The private entrance to the beach was amazing - and just a quick 2 block walk from the house. Unfortunately the weather was a little iffy - so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool as much as we wanted; however, the few days it was nice it was lovely to have on property. Highly recommend this booking - especially for large groups.

Worked great for our team

We stayed with a very large team and it was fantastic. We had enough space for everyone and the outside decks proved to be perfect for outdoor dining and social hours. We would stay here again!

Thanksgiving reunion

Renting this property was very easy. It was the perfect size for our group. The beach was very close and host was very responsive to all our questions and needs.

Awesome location but not clean

Our stay was amazing. The location and lay out of the house is exquisite. However, there was damage to some of the drawers and one of the panels on the jacuzzi was missing exposing the inner machinery. The sheets also had visible brown dirt on them and sand. The bath tubs had black hair in them and a dirt film, and towels were wet and left on the floor when we arrived. Would be 5/5 stars if the cleaning service was better 687 dollars for a servicing fee should include clean sheets, towels, and bathrooms.

Great place for large groups with easy/great access to the beach in a quiet neighborhood.

Location is great. Short walk with access to private beach made staying on the beach all day very enjoyable. Having two houses made for a great time for a large group. The pool was great. Had one issue with the pool but it was addressed quickly. Kitchens were nice but more pots, pans and baking dishes are needed along with better lighting over the stove and counters. Glass ware was also needed. Would definitely come back again.

Great stay!

This was a great spot for our group! We had some minor issues with not being able to connect to the WiFi the entire time but all in all it was a great trip and this location was perfect for our group’s needs.

Awesome place!

This was perfect for our team of 8th grade girls. They all slept in the bunk room and the coaches and parents stayed in the other rooms. Super spacious. The property manager handled our minor issues immediately on day 1 and we had an enjoyable stay!

Fair at best. Pool was green when we arrived. Game room first. Ac not working in master bedroom. Remotes on TVs without batteries. Half TVs didn’t work place was fair at best. But I will say the issues we had they fixed in reasonable time. We definitely left place cleaner than when we arrived. I do expect I get my $500 deposit back

Great for a party house, not so much for a family

The property is HUGE and sleeps a ton of people. We had 6 adults and 6 kids plus a newborn. The house was too big for our group. It is in a great location. The house was not cleaned well (qtips in a bathroom drawer, lots of broken glass in the driveway, some sort of liquid in the bottom of the fridge), and bedding linens were inadequate. Also, there were a lot of light bulbs out. Bottom line, you're paying for space, but for what I paid I would have expected much higher quality. On a plus side, Nina did send maintenance to take care of the light bulbs, but they did not resolve the other issues. Oh, and the internet was not working in one of the houses. I would not stay here again unless I was a college kid looking to cram a ton of people into a huge space, which is what this house is primarily used for according to the neighbors.

Disillusioned

The property was perfect for a big family gathering. Great accommodations. Having two kitchens made it easy to prepare meals. Baths with all bedrooms was awesome as well. Where the visit went south was the lack of cleaning and the conditions of the property. There were broken cabinets, broken toilet and spoiled food left in frig. It was evident that some bathrooms had not been cleaned and there were sheets and towels left in washer and dryers. That told me that the cleaning crew did not do their job. The property manager did the right thing for us. It’s was disappointing to have to contend with that while trying to enjoy a vaca with the family.

Great House, Covid=Difficult

Before I start my review I want to say that this was during the COVID-19 summer. The location is great just a short walk to the private beach access. So nice to not ever have a crowded beautiful beach. We loved how big the house was for our large group with big rooms, big bathrooms and lots of beds. Nice to have lots of places to gather from the 2 decks, 2 kitchen/dinning areas, game room/garage and pool. The kitchen is "stocked" but not well when cooking for a large group (pots/pan/dishes were small and not many). Also the kitchens are on the top (3rd) floor, this was not a problem for us but would not be good for elderly and handicap. The floors are all concrete which is great due to high traffic and sand from the beach but did not seem to be cleaned when we arrived, swept but not moped. And having small children in our group made it hard to put them down anywhere. Other than the floors the house was clean but when we arrived there were multiple things broken. Communication was great up until a month out. We even needed to change our dates due to COVID-19 and were very pleased they were able to help us change dates. But as the time got closer to pay communication was not good and even cancelled on us at one point and said they would not refund us our money. Most times we would receive a quick response but were not getting our questions answered. Long story short due to the pandemic we are 2 weeks past our time in Florida and we are still waiting on our refund due COVID-19 and them not sending our refund right away. We understand COVID-19 must have made things very difficult for them but we are most disappointed with the failure to communicate clearly and fairly.
