Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing, especially considering we paid over 7,000. The biggest issue was the ants. There were hundreds throughout the property, including the kitchen, bathroom sinks, both master bedrooms, outdoor furniture, our luggage, and our beds. At one point I had around 100 ants in my bed, and we even found ants crawling in my baby’s crib. If luggage or clothing was left on the floor, ants would get into it. Management sent someone to spray, but unfortunately the ants became even worse afterward. There were also several maintenance issues. The dryer had to be run about three times to dry clothes. The downstairs bathroom had no hot water, and the sink would clog and completely fill with water. The shelving in the master shower was missing from the wall and had never been put back up. The flooring was peeling in areas, several lamps and lampshades were crooked, some lights did not work, and the mirrors were deteriorating with gray areas behind the glass. The outdoor boardwalk also needs maintenance, as I got a splinter in my foot from the wood. We understand that occasional issues happen, but this was far too many problems for a property costing over 7,000. The home has great potential, but it needs significant maintenance and proper pest control before I could recommend it.
