Large hot tub on large deck, close to golf courses, state parks, and wineries!

This beautiful, five bedroom, four bath chalet is ideal for any family reunion or celebration. Located on a 2.6 acre wooded lot only a short drive from both Hidden Valley (.5 miles) and Seven Springs (3.3 miles) resorts. Privacy, peace and quiet await you, while all the fun is still close by!

We now offer 2 full refrigerators (one in the kitchen, one in the heated garage) for plenty of food storage space! There's also enough room for up to eight cars in the driveway!

Check in time is 4:00pm and check out time is 11:00am. Early check in and late check out are offered for an additional fee if available.

We do not offer land-line telephone service in the house. Dogs welcome for a fee with approval from owner..NO CATS PERMITTED!

Great Family Stay!

This is our third visit staying at this cabin for family gatherings and we love it! Great wooded location, plenty of sleeping space, clean hot tub, cozy firepit area and good times. Thank you, Beth, for being a fantastic host!

Communication was easy and very informative. Very helpful. The house was clean, well maintained and perfect for our reunion. The hot tub was a hit and the outdoor area, especially the fire pit was wonderful for making smores and enjoying conversations. The location is peaceful and beautiful!!! Would definitely recommend.

Great private house for families

Our family had a wonderful stay here to celebrate Thanksgiving together in the mountains! Beth is an excellent host. We really enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement and the outdoor hot tub!

Perfect Family Weekend Trip

This was the perfect location and house for a family ski trip. There was so much space for everyone to be comfortable, play games, cook, and relax. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Extended family ski trip

We greatly enjoyed this cozy, open house. Beds and pillows were comfortable and we had plenty of everything. Location was convenient to skiing, but those of us who hung out at the house enjoyed ourselves too. The host was friendly and responsive and the property was clean.

Great place for a large family get-together

Beautiful home in a secluded, walkable location. Plenty of room and equipment (hot tub, ping pong, TVs) for a range of ages of family members to enjoy time together and apart. Kitchen is much better equipped than we expected.

Cousin’s Weekend

We loved this property. Plenty of space for 12 women to relax. The kitchen was well equipped, the location was great and the direction made it very easy to find. Very comfy & cozy, highly recommend.

Perfect Gathering Spot

We stayed here for a winter getaway with friends and family, and it turned out to be the perfect spot. The house has everything you need like a stocked kitchen, linens and cleaning supplies. Beth is a super communicator and answered every question we had before and during our trip. We were able to have all of our friends comfortably under the same roof and especially loved we had plenty of beds and bathrooms for all. Recommend! cou

Beautiful location. The only issue was the first time someone sat on the picnic table at the fire-it... it went right down... and looks like it was pretty rotten.

Beautiful Rural Cabin

We stayed at this house to ski at the Seven Springs resort. It was a short drive to the resort, but great amenities and space at the house made it worth it to our group. Plenty of beds for guests, we had a couple of families and kids all were able to have their own beds. Plus. we lucked into snow in the area and it was picture perfect! Just FYI cell coverage in the area is spotty, the house had great Wifi and they provided written directions for nearby places. Those were helpful when our cell coverage GPS dropped out. Communication was great as well with the host. I would recommend staying there anytime!

Great time! Great place!

We all had a great time. The place was nice and clean. Two things that I’m sure the housekeeper would not notice: The couches in the living room are bad. When you sit on either of them you sink way down. Like the bases are broken ???? The upstairs fan might be missing a few screws it wobbles and looks like it might fall off if the ceiling plus is extremely loud. But we would definitely recommend this place and book again in the future.

Wonderful!

Secluded and comfortable, with a hot tub, nice deck, and plenty of beds and bathrooms. We come annually to a convention at Seven Springs (board gaming - WBC). The only catch for us was getting back and forth to the convention. Nobody's fault, but it just meant some more time and logistics and car-dirtying "shortcuts" to get such a nice place! We recommend this place otherwise as a great spot, and the owner was great in sending a repair person when we needed the AC fixed. Got it done right away! Thanks!

An awesome setting

This is a beautiful area and home, and God provided a 4 day constant powdery snowstorm that only accumulated about 5", very cold, and always picturesque! The folks that took care of the roads kept access open and plowed, and PA does a great job on the roads there. We had 14 of our family, and plenty of space to spread out, good beds, and the great room fireplace was everyone's favorite. 7 Springs opened up on arrival with 4 and eventually 6 lifts, but the other resorts held off until the weekend after our stay. We did have Verizon cell service issues the first 3 days, but we're able to get VOIP to partially plug the gap on the homes internet. We would do this again!

Great family experience

The photos don't do this home justice. First pleasant surprise it was warm inside. Very well stocked for a large family. Two refrigerators handled all the food with room to spare. We had a good variety of cookware too. No problem fitting multiple cars in the driveway. Beds for everyone ( we always bring fold out foam mattress see just in case) Another surprise-high quality linens and ample towels neatly supplied for each bedroom. Hot tub was a great treat too. As our family and circle of friends follows it's harder to find homes that are comfortable and still affordable. Thanks to the gracious hosts, we had both.

Welcome to Bear Cove! My family bought the house in 2004. We have enjoyed it for years, as there is so much around the area to enjoy! White water rafting is one of our favorites at Ohiopyle....my recommendation is take a guide with you in your raft. They know how to navigate the rapids!
Another favorite is Falling Water. Plenty of hiking, and then you can walk under the waterfall or f you're brave, slide down the rock slide into the water!!
