Esta casa tiene casi 100 años y la renovamos en julio de 2017.
La casa está muy limpia y cuenta con calefacción por suelo radiante y aire acondicionado (frío / calor)
Usted pasa sus vacaciones cómodamente.

Cerca de la estación de metro Karasuma-Oike, a solo tres paradas de la estación de Kioto.
La ubicación es conveniente para hacer un poco de turismo y compras.

Esta propiedad Satsuki es la unidad inferior de una casa de dos pisos de Machiya. Hay otra unidad en la planta baja y será utilizado por otros huéspedes. Sin embargo, no compartirás ninguna habitación excepto el vestíbulo principal..

Great Location

Nice quiet area but still close to the subway/ to town. Clean, and host / manager was kind and easy to communicate before / during the stay.

Great location in traditional style house

All amenities provided in beautiful home. No problems. Would stay there again

Exceptional hosts

Our hosts were truly impressive and this beautifully renovated townhouse provided every comfort and need we had while traveling to Kyoto for 4 days. It was the perfect place to recharge after long days of temple sightseeing. The heated floors were a particular bonus. We would definitely reserve again.

Lovely Stay in Kyoto

My sister and I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Satsuki rental for 4 nights. It was pretty much perfect for us. We had plenty of room to relax and enjoyed making our breakfast and coffee there each morning. There wasn't anyone staying in the unit below while we were there, so it was quiet other than a bit of street noise in the western style bedroom in the evening. The unit was charming and clean. Be aware it is up a steep flight of steps - we didn't have any problems though. The location is great, with plenty of nearby restaurants, convenience stores, shopping and a subway station. I can't speak highly enough about the kindness and helpfulness of all of the staff. Anytime I had a question, it was promptly answered. They provided directions to the townhouse in Japanese to share with our taxi driver. Mia met us for check in and went over all of the details. Jacky met us at checkout and even helped us carry our luggage and hail a cab. We would happily stay at Satsuki again. Thanks for a great stay!

Warm and cosy in trendy Kyoto

This apartment has been tastefully restored, is beautifully warm with its heated floor and has all the facilities you could want. We were offered a free taxi to and from the station which we gratefully accepted, meaning we did not have to conquer crowded Kyoto's metro with our luggage. Mariko met us at the apartment and explained everything, her English being excellent. Our wifi was not working on the first day so she came around within the hour and sorted it out. We walked along very smart trendy streets (they look like back lanes) each night to find great restaurants and were able to get to all the attractions very easily. Nijo-jo castle is within easy walking distance as was the very smart shopping district along Shijo dori. Six days was not enough.

This house is almost 100 years old. We would like to leave this traditional house to posterity.
We renovated the inside of the house but the outside, you can see the old Japanese style.
The house is near to Karasuma oike street. On the street, a traditional festival is taken place every summer so this area has a history. We would like to share the history and would like to enjoy the culture by staying at the house.
