I have rented vacation apartments, houses, etc. in a lot of places. Booking out of the country can be especially tricky and risky. However, this was the best rental my family has ever stayed at. We are a family of 5 with 3 little kids. Apartment was plenty big, air conditioner was great, kitchen had everything, communication was a breeze, balcony was unreal. I hope we go back to Lisbon and if we do we are renting this apartment if available. Great location. Across the alley is a little cafe run by a couple. Elda is the owner, very nice lady and made breakfast every morning.

Great apartment in a great location

We LOVED staying here! The location was great (Lisbon is very hilly, so we just accepted that part), the view was stunning, the apartment was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, the whole process was very easy. We had three adults, utilizing the three rooms, and felt there was plenty of room. Would recommend!

Simply amazing property

Lovely apartment with an amazing balcony and view. This was maybe the most excited my family has ever been about a rental apartment when we arrived. The spaces are really well designed and beautiful and thoughtfully put together. The location is amazing to explore the historic center of Lisbon.

Beautiful property with exceptional views. Owners should install grab bars in the master shower as the marble floor is like a sheet of ice when wet. Master bath lock was broken for the stay but it didn't interfere with having a great time there. Keep in mind you better be in decent condition to get to the property from an Uber as there is an obstacle that prevents Ubers and other cars (though maybe not taxis) from getting to the front door. That walk is uphill to the entry door but then you have an elevator when you get in. All in all this was a wonderful property and I highly recommend it for the amazing view, great location near restaurants and comfortable beds.

An incredible property in an incredible location with an incredible host!

This was a fantastic property in the heart of historic Bica. The apartment was clean, quiet, and had a great south-facing balcony with lovely views of the city and water. It’s in a perfect spot if you want to explore Lisbon on foot — close to great cafes, restaurants, and key sights.The host was excellent: responsive, professional, and very helpful throughout. One of the best hosting experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend.

Very nice apartment

This apartment was on the top floor and had a small balcony with a lovely view of the city. It was clean and all the appliances, including the elevator and a/c, worked. The location was wonderful, but it was on a road inaccessible by car so that was a learning experience for us. Much of the city is inaccessible by car! The host was friendly and helpful.We stayed in Porto and Lagos also, and this apartment was by far the best one. We would stay here again.

Although the property and location were quite nice, unfortunately we had 1000 cash stolen from the property on the first day after we checked in. There was no safe provided. There was no sign of forced entry. The host was completely unhelpful and unresponsive even after we filed a police report. The police indicated there have been other theft reports at this same location.

Week in Lisbon

Pros: Great apartment with spectacular views of the river and bridges. The apartment had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and still hang as a family. 2 bathrooms were very convenient. Washing machine in the unit was also helpful. Cons:Only enough hot water for 2 showers per n the morning. Master bed killed my back so not much sleep to be had. You have to buy your own toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry detergent, etc. Towels are tiny.Beware: Management company is awful. Slow to respond. Not able to resolve issues. For Americans flying in, you will likely arrive around 10:00am and they will not let you into the unit until 3pm. Make plans for a place to rest, store luggage, etc before heading to the unit.
