This two story home with three bedrooms and two baths is perfect for your party of six. With a huge outdoor deck with stairs leading down to the beach, you and your family will be able to catch up over a nice meal all while watching a gorgeous Oregon sunset! You'll also find a gas BBQ for guest use during your stay, so make sure to fire up the grill for that Fourth of July party! Bringing teenagers to the beach? The garage functions as a game room, perfect for the kids to relax and hang out in while the adults chat upstairs. Each room comes with a queen bed, lots of natural light from the large picturesque windows, and each one specially decorated with the comforts of home. There's even a wood fireplace to help keep you warm on those more chilly Oregon coast days and nights. The kitchen offers plenty of space for a group of six, basic spices, Salt, Pepper, and oil, where you'll be able to whip up any meal, be it simple or unique, all while enjoying a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean. We loved this house, it had a great beach access and the kids loved the ping pong table. All in all, a great place for family to stay. I also loved that all the rooms were on the same level, we have younger children and I love having them close.

The house was beautiful and we all enjoyed it very much! We will probably book it again next year. I would recommend a propane fire pit on the deck, as well as more kitchen hand towels. Besides those two small recommendations everything was perfect! We had an excellent time.

I have to say I was disappointed with this house. The layout was very strange with the only shower being in the bedroom en-suite and the main bathroom has the sink in the hallway. There is no ocean view from the house despite it being notes in the description. The interior and exterior are very tired and worn, and the place needs a deep cleaning (for instance the shower drain was full of hair). Would not stay here again.

Mold was found all over in the damp garage with standing water on floor, carpet is old and filthy. Parts of carpet are missing and holes in it. Description says 2 story house but it is very misleading, there is only 1 story of living space. Grass around house smells awful- so bad we were not abke to enjoy the deck.

Great location and beach house

We enjoyed our stay at this beach house. The house furniture and decor is dated and carpet needs some attention but that didn't make our stay any less enjoyable. The beach just over the dunes was heaven! Great location for day trips to different towns.

Lovely beach house experience

Having the beach such a short walk away was amazing, we couldn’t get over how wonderful it was being able to walk out on the back deck and hear the waves. House was relaxing and clean. We can’t wait to stay here again, thank you for the great weekend.

Great memories and lazy days at the dunes and beach!

Great place and mere steps to the beach through the beautiful dunes. Close to all things in Waldport and Newport. Recommend it.

The location of this property is great and a fun community. Wonderful hot tub on the deck outside in the back. This area is very sandy with several berms so you won’t see the ocean from the house. My main issue with the home is that it is in desperate need of updating and several key things were missing that affected my stay. For one, the sliding screen door was completely missing in the Primary bedroom door exiting into the back deck, making it impossible to keep the door open in order to bring in the fresh air, which I desperately wanted to do. Also, the screen in the kitchen window was missing and I couldn’t keep that window open for fear of bugs and potentially birds coming into the home. The living room couch worn out beyond being usable. It was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat in and forget about laying on it! There is no support whatsoever. It is completely worn out and has been for years.The front door is worn out beyond repair or saving. It needs a completely brand, new construction door and frame. It doesn’t keep the outside weather from coming in, you can see light underneath, and above coming through, and someone could easily kick the door in. The television was difficult to operate with no instructions. Also, no TVs in any bedroom. The bed was OK. Not the worst, not the best. The kitchen was functional with a good assortment of pots and pants and utensils. 3.5 Stars.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. A short walk through the dunes

This is a fabulous location. All you have to do to get to the wide sandy beach is to cross the deck and walk through the sand dunes. Also, there is a large hot tub, where you can listen to the sound of the waves as you soak. We used the house as a basis of our exploration of the Central Oregon Coast, venturing as far south as Florence by way of the Heceta Head Lighthouse, and up to the "Outstanding Natural Area" of Yaquina

False advertising

While the property is right on the coast, there is only a sliver of the ocean visible from the cottage because of high dunes blocking an ocean view. Also, the beach access path from the cottage is through high beach grass and, after about 25 yards, ends (about another 30 yards from the shoreline) at a steep cliff-like dropoff that is extremely difficult to descend and impossible to get back up, making the description of a "Private beach access" deceptive.
