Spacious and bright 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage on a bluff overlooking the Alsea River's entry to the Pacific. Views are world class of the ocean, estuary, spit and Alsea Bay including graceful Bay Bridge. The west wall is windows and the play of tide and current, crabbers and fishing boats, sunsets and night lights provides a constantly changing show in the back yard. Very quiet street a couple blocks from Hwy. 101.

Full kitchen with utensils, clothes washer and dryer, Cable TV, Wifi, gas fire place. Restaurants, markets, and golfing are minutes away in Waldport. Location is 1.5 hours from Albany/Corvallis, and Eugene. It is 20 minutes from Newport; .45 from Salishan and Florence north and south respectively.

The location was perfect for us. We had access to the inlet below we were able to grab from the beach using crab stairs. The view from the front window was magnificent. The house is perfect for two couples.

This house was perfect. We stayed a couple days. Perfect view, comfortable home, everything you need. We were a last minute booking and the owner made it easy. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this place. We spent hours sitting on the deck overlooking the beach below. It was a prime location for watching frolicking seals. The bedrooms were spacious. The house was impeccable. The place was located on a side road and was very quiet. The whole family enjoyed the layout, location and views. Our best VRBO experience ever.

The view is breathtaking. The home is cozy and the deck is wonderful. I love how the furniture is situated to sit comfy looking out window at the gorgeous view. Everything was wonderful.

The high point of this property is the view out the front of the house where the ocean meets the Alsea river. We watched multiple fishing boats reel in silver salmon. Too bad they couldn't keep them. The house is not roomy, especially the kitchen counter space but there was only the two of us so we made do. It was clean and well stocked with basic necessities. The best beach access we found was a very short drive down the road at Patterson Grove (? name) where you can park and walk down to the beach. The trail closest to the house is steep. In fact, there is a sign that says "dangerous, do not use". Overall, we really enjoyed the house and our stay.

Great location and view cannot be beat! Harbor seals hung out one day, eagle the next morning, and beautiful sunsets.

My husband, 1 year old and I had such a relaxing long weekend here. The house is as-described and pictured. The host has very thoughtfully provided everything you could want for a short stay, a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. The view is incredible, we saw so many sea lions just from the living room, and the sunsets were beautiful. It's a perfect jumping off point to visit the lighthouse, aquarium, beautiful viewpoints and hikes both north and south. It was also amazing to have a delicious restaurant just a 3 minute walk away, the Hilltop Cafe Bistro. This was exactly what we were looking for for a quiet getaway.

Beautiful view!

We had a lovely stay in Waldport. The view was amazing and I enjoyed the short walk down to the beach. We had everything we needed in this home.

Absolutely beautiful location!

We're so happy we chose this home which has a spectacular view of the ocean, the bay, and the bridge. It feels like a real home and we loved Waldport.

Amazing views!

This was the perfect spot for a family getaway during our last baseball tournament of the season! The view is amazing and the house slept the 5 of us comfortably. We will definitely keep this place on our return list if we have more tournaments in the Waldport area!
