This is the third time we have stayed at this property. We use it as a place to stay when we canoe the Pine River. The house is always very clean and well-maintained. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. Across the road is a park and a lake. It’s just a short walk to a swimming area. We would definitely rent again.

It was a really peaceful place to get away to and the beach right down the road

It was awesome nice and peaceful and beach right down the road got to go to the national forest it was a really nice place to stay i would go again

This cabin was so cute and had so much space! I loved the retro feel but with modern decor. We rented this place so we could go up to Iron Fish Distillery and have fun playing board games. The Rec Room was top notch for watching movies with comfort, the pool table was fun, and the dining table was the main feature we utilized. Plenty of space to spread out large board games or strategy games, or if you were with a large group of people. This trip we only traveled with 3 adults and originally planned to bring one child who would have loved the bunk room and the park right across the street. There is an even larger park down the road along with nearby beach access. Only 25 minutes from Manistee for lots of shopping, they have a retro movie theater that was so cool. The amount of stars outside was beautiful as well. Even though there was a hospitality house right next door that was super close to the cabin, it was in a super quiet neighborhood and felt very private. The neighbor is super friendly as well!We will definitely be back with a larger group and the kiddo next time!

Salmon camp fishing trip

We absolutely love staying here. It is my second time there will definitely be back again. Plenty a room cozy in a lot of things to do love the backyard with the pavilion.

Great Launch Pad for skiing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wellston Weekends. The property was very well kept and communication with the property owner was quick and friendly. The location was great for groceries (Dublin, ftw!) and skiing (Caberfae, Crystal). We will definitely be back in future ski trips!

Back again

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this cabin. Just like last time, it was perfect. We had a great time. Kitchen is very well stocked with things you wouldn’t bring from home, like olive oil, etc. It’s just a great place to stay.

Perfect!

This is a really great house. It's close to the water and feels secluded. The house was big enough for all 4 of us to spread out and stay out of each other's way and had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend. I would definitely stay here again!

This vacation home has been a part of our family since 1993. Originally owned by my parents - we enjoyed many hunting trips, Thanksgiving dinners and fun summer weekends with them. We then purchased the property in 2006 and have enjoyed taking our daughters there, swimming in Crystal Lake, renting a pontoon on the "Mana-Pine", spending summer days on Lake Michigan in Manistee and enjoying smores by the bonfire back at the cabin. We truly enjoy our time in Wellston! But with our busy lives, we don't get there as much as we'd like. So we have recently decided to share our vacation home with others! We hope you enjoy your stay here as much as we always do!
