The large property and private setting make for a great getaway. We loved how quiet it was. The place itself is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We had a guest from Utah, and he kept saying, "This is a great place!"

Our stay here was what we want for every vacation. Peaceful …clean, affordable. Lots to venture out to do, including the swaying bridge. Great communication as well from the Campbells. Hope to come back

From the moment I booked this property, the host was in touch with us. The directions and house information provided were excellent. The property is absolutely beautiful and very private. The house was very clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The views from the windows were beautiful. We felt right at home. The wrap around porch was such a relaxing place to hang out and read or simply enjoy nature. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, we can highly recommend this place. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our group's 9th year staying at this property. We love it. It's a great place for old friends to gather as we go on our annual canoe trip on the Manistee. We'll be back again next year.

We enjoyed our stay! There’s plenty of room in the common area, and the double bed and three twin beds (one bunked) provided enough sleep space at night. Nice to have lots of outdoor space, including visiting hummingbirds and bees. The firepit has plenty of chairs including a rocker. We were curious about the sporadic gunfire (mid-August - maybe target practice?). Overall a nice relaxing experience for us, our adult kids, and grand-dog.

Good Morning Glad you enjoyed your stay. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the great room plus the queen in the main bedroom. Not sure on the gun fire , I know of the hunt club a couple of miles to the east. Hope to see you back soon.

This location is a birders paradise and full of natural beauty. The host is extremely good at communicating. The place has all the amenities one needs. The beds could be improved they smaller beds you could feel the springs and the queen bed sleep number was not functioning. The bathroom is smaller but overall the place is welcoming and nice place to relax.

Good Morning Thank you for staying with us, I'm replacing the number bed today. I was just there and didn't know of the problem. I will look into the twin bed and may replace them. Has for the bathroom it is what it is.. When I designed the cabin it was designed for a weekend get away. I hope to see you again. Thank you again.

the kitchen was well stocked. lots of pots and pans and silverware. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The host was very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here for 3 yrs and would stay again next year if every thing goes as planned.

We have stayed at this cabin a couple of times now. It is a great place if you are into the outdoors and it is very close to the Manistee river Trail. We are always happy when we stay and Brian is great

Wonderful Family Retreat

We love staying at the Campbell’s Lone Wolf Retreat. The cabin is comfortable and clean and has everything you need. The property is just beautiful.

A very wonderful place to stay. Quiet, relaxing, and a nice "away from home" setting. Brian was a great and caring host. All the snacks (incuding the dog biscuits/nibbles after kibbles), supplies, and overall furnishings are nice. Would definitely stay again.

We love this cabin! We have rented multiple times, however this was our first winter stay. Snow was beautiful and the cabin was very cozy. Dogs are always very happy here. Thanks again to Brian - he is a very responsive and caring host.

We really loved the peacefulness and isolation of the cabin. I was well furnished and clean. My wife and her friend had plenty of room to set up their scrapbook workstations. I went skiing at Caberfae Peaks and Crystal Mountain.
