Welcome to the Gorgeous Suite! Our property is nestled on 7 forested acres with panoramic views of the Columbia River and surrounding Cascade mountains. Skamania Lodge, Bridge of the Gods, Cascade Locks, Mt. Hood, Dog Mountain, White Salmon, Hood River and Portland are just a few close destinations. The entire garden level of our home is your spacious, comfortable suite where you can escape, relax and unwind in this beautiful setting.

Your private entrance welcomes you to a warm and inviting 1000 sq. ft. suite. Features include a king size bed, an adjoining living room with river rock fireplace, coffee bar, refrigerator, microwave, TV, complimentary WiFi, a wide selection of books, games, and movies. The unparalleled views extend out to your private patio surrounded by lush and vast gardens.

Within a few miles, you will find golf courses, brew pubs, restaurants, farmer's markets, shops, waterfalls, wineries, kite boarding, wind surfing, sailing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and numerous other recreational adventures. Portland and its airport is a easy 45 minute drive. Enjoy the Columbia Gorge Interpretative Center, Maple Leaf Events, Blues and Bluegrass weekend festivals, Skamania County Fair, local parks, Beacon Rock State Park, Maryhill, White Salmon, and Hood River Wineries.

We had a wonderful time staying at this location with beautiful views of the Columbia River. A very nice quiet retreat. The only thing that could have been better, is for us to stay longer. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

Wow, for the money this is probably the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. Super clean with an incredible view… and it’s so quiet and peaceful. Beautiful gardens and a fantastic host!

Libby and Craig are great hosts! They're available if needed, but not at all intrusive. The room was quiet and very nice, and has a gorgeous view of the gorge.

We loved this place! Inside was spotless, comfortable and we had everything we needed for a couple of days. We especially enjoyed coffee on the patio overlooking the gorge with a spectacular view each morning and evening! It was easy to find and we drove into town, which is only about five minutes to eat dinner. Then we stopped by the small grocery store to get some things for breakfast. Easy check in and out and good communication. We did waterfalls one day, it’s a short drive to cross the Bridge of the Gods. (3). We ate lunch at the Multanoma Falls lodge and later toured the dam and learned about the salmon in the Columbia River…. and saw some really big ones in the tanks of the dam!

We absolutely loved our time spent here! A clean, quiet and peaceful sanctuary to rest and recharge. Hospitality was felt through out the suite and communication was wonderful. We will definitely be returning!

Libby and Craig were the most accommodating and responsive hosts. The apartment was very clean, supplies were available for cleaning up as needed, offering to launder towels, etc any time. There were signs and notes around making it easy to find things and follow their requests. Libby was so considerate with everything around the apartment to make it feel like home. The bed was comfortable and the area so quiet, we had no trouble falling asleep on Eastern time, sleeping sound all night. Relaxing on the patio with all the beautiful flowers and that amazing view was so wonderful. A doe and fawn were frequent visitors, what a joy!Craig and Libby bought a freezer for us before we arrived after we mentioned we would like to have one. They were so thoughtful in the snacks they left for us, perfect for our hikes. They even left the light on for us ;)It was such a pleasure meeting Libby and Craig. Libby offered fresh garden tomatoes, more snacks, and anything else to make our stay comfortable. We appreciate everything from the best hosts!

An amazing place to relax!

What a wonderful place to stay! The views were amazing and if you can catch a full moon over the water in the evening,wow!! Very peaceful. Perfect place to stay.

Beautiful location and view! Very comfortable, clean, and peaceful suite. While the kitchen and bathroom were small, they were very serviceable. Hosts were responsive, kind, and generous. Would stay again.

Loved staying here while attending a wedding in the area. The space was clean, comfy, and so cozy! The outdoor space and the view were beautiful. I really enjoyed drinking coffee on the patio and reading there, it was so peaceful. Libby and Craig were wonderful hosts. I can't wait to come back!

We lived in downtown Stevenson until we bought this home on Stewart Road. Both had incredible river views and uniqueness. Our house on Stewart Road provides seclusion, more wildlife, and peacefulness. We loved both places.
